  1. Thanks! I didn't know - I've been trying to look stuff up as I go if I didn't remember what it was. I know the TMNT, Star Wars and Joes, but I was a little shaky on the Transformer, the tree thing, and most of the accessories (I think the green crossbow is for Rat King - who is missing; and I think the black backpack is for a B.A.T.s - who unfortunately died in a tragic BB Gun sniping in the early 90s; I wasn't always the best at taking care of my things at the time). I know the Robo Force is obvious, as well as the raisins and the Astrosnik, and I know that the sheep thing is a Barnyard Commando that may be my brother's. And of course, Bugs Bunny, the Godfather from WWE, a Barenstein/stain Bear, Figment, a tennis gnome and a Laser Beast. And BJ Surhoff and a Sectaur thing. So not sure about the tree guy or the little gray guy with the gun and red visor.
  2. Went to my parents' house for the holidays, and they said they found a bunch of my old stuff when they were cleaning out the basement. Some toys, Nintendo Power and Mad magazines, and a box of cards that included a ton of the 1st gen Marvel cards. I haven't gotten around to sorting through the cards or magazines yet, but here's what they had for toys: Bunch of TMNT: A few G.I. Joe: Some Star Wars: Couple of MOTU: Random stuff: And a bunch of accessories that I can't remember who they belong to - if anyone knows of a resource to look up G.I. Joe/TMNT/Other accessories, please let me know!
  3. Finally got a Something is Killing the Children #1. Maybe not the most desirable version of #1, but at least I own it now (and I do think it's a pretty sweet cover)...
  4. Interesting that his eBay auctions ship from only a couple of miles away of Kew Gardens and Forest Hills, NY. (It should be noted that I am implying absolutely nothing at all in this post, only noting the interesting coincidence of the photo subject's proximity to the aforementioned areas in this thread.)
  5. Thank you to @Djohnson321, @DavidTheDavid, @skypinkblu and many, many others for their care, time and generous natures in helping a fellow boardie, @jimjum12, in a difficult time. I had the opportunity to add a book I've wanted for quite a while to my PC, and I appreciate Dave's generosity and his always careful attention to detail, packing, shipping, etc.
  6. They didn't specifically call out the DCU logo, but the 515 was $12 and the 532 was $6, and the store was having a 50% off back issue sale. Based on the pricing, I assume they were given a price bump due to the DCU logos.
  7. Just got this in today, fairly hard to find this one:
  8. I think it is - here's a link to a direct sales version: https://www.ebay.com/itm/195981518361
  9. You don't see these a ton - Batman Adventures Mad Love newsstand. It's in great condition with a couple of color rubs here and there, but it has what looks like an unfortunate printing error near the bar code - it's definitely not damage of any kind. Either way, I couldn't pass this one up!
  10. 7.5 is a VF-! If that's "low grade," I need to rethink my collecting...
  11. Thanks, I wasn't aware. All good to keep it private, as long as someone has some info that can possibly help rectify this thing.
  12. So, do you have Briva3's actual name and address then? I'm not asking you to share it here, but I think there will be a number of people (i.e., authorities) who would be interested to learn this information.
  13. Is this 515 generally harder to find than the black embossed version? I'm not seeing any for sale or sold on eBay currently. I'll be honest, I'm still not completely up on my DCU logo books, so when I see them for relatively cheap I usually just grab them and ask questions later...
  14. I pull stacks all the way out of the boxes and go through them one by one so I can see the bar codes. I’m always careful and respectful about it, and I always put them back exactly where they were - nobody has ever said anything to me about it (yet).
  15. Not sure if this is helpful - maybe it'll jog someone's memory if they've bought from "Comic Selects"/briva3: I know eBay currently shows that profile as shipping from Forest Hills, NY, but I found an old sales listing from 2017 on a site that showcased eBay auctions, and it lists briva3 as the seller, located in Jackson, NJ: https://amazingspidermancgc.name/amazing-spider-man-678-cgc-9-6-super-rare-venom-variant-mary-jane-press-to-9-8.htm
