  7. Welcome to Another Holiday Sale! I have a lot of different books I can list - if you're looking for something specific, please let me know and I can tell you if I have it. I'll have a wide mix of books in this thread in a variety of price ranges, including some independent publisher stuff, modern newsstands, covers from specific artists and more. I'll keep it going for a bit (the next couple of weeks or so). If you're buying something that you need to have by Christmas for a gift, please send me a message that you want to close out asap even if the thread is still open so I can get it shipped right away - keep in mind that there are often shipping delays this time of year, so don't wait! The rules: No naughty listers - Santa is watching! Shipping will be actual cost based on PirateShip rates for USPS Ground Advantage or Priority - I'll be 100% transparent with shipping, it's a pass-through cost (I'm not looking to make money on handling/packaging). I can ship internationally, but the cost of shipping and any additional VAT/Customs/etc. costs are the responsibility of the buyer No returns. I pack well and securely, either in Gemini mailers or boxes depending on the volume of books in the order. In the case of extreme mishandling or something by USPS, I'll definitely resolve it with you. I've bought a lot and sold a bit here and on eBay, and I'm active on the boards - I'm confident that there are users here who would vouch for my character if you need a reference. Payment is by Paypal G&S. If you don't have access to Paypal, we can discuss other options like Venmo, but Paypal G&S is preferred. I will listen to offers, but a "take" in the thread wins over any PM negotiations.
  8. Me: Mom, can we have Pep #22? Mom: No dear, we have Pep #22 at home... Pep #22 at home: First appearance and cover of Ozzie (of Ozzie and Babs fame). Found it for $18, and felt like it was an absolute no-brainer to grab it. I'm a life-long Archie fan, and this is one of those famous "Archie-likes" that didn't last a long time but still has some significance.
  9. Aw man, I wanted the G.I Joe 151 newsstand... Oh, wait...
  10. Disregard the G.I. Joe, I didn't want to retake pics. Got all of these out of a $1 bin today:
  11. Popped in to a local hobby shop that "also has a couple of boxes of comics" - pulled these out of the $1 bin: And this one wasn't $1, but it was cover price, at that same shop:
  12. Although I just said in the post above that my kids don't care for comics, my daughter actually did read and liked the Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane books. She also really liked the Calvin and Hobbes and Fox Trot collections (obviously a little different than what we're talking about here, but still comics in their own right).
  13. I set up at a show last weekend, and a handful of people brought kids with them. For every kid that came through, I told them to look in the $1 bins and find a couple of books they might like, and they could have them. As a parent (whose kids don't care at all about comics unfortunately) it was a lot of fun to see their faces light up as they dug through the bins.
  14. Yeah! But I actually got them from another seller, Davis Rider - I believe they collaborate on a bunch of stuff. I couldn't pass them up, I really like the trade cover.
  15. I hadn't been on WhatNot for a while, so I decided to check it out the other night when I was bored (a potentially dangerous game financially). I ended up buying 6 raw books for a total of $30, and I won a "buyer's giveaway" CGC SS 9.8 as well!
