In the client’s own words: Dr. Martin Brody’s collection consists specifically of 1940’s WW2 related comics depicting the Allies/Superheroes battling the Nazis and the 3rdReich. Dr. Brody’s collection consists of examples from various pedigrees. The tagline is on all the on-line listings. https://comics.ha.com/c/search-results.zx?N=52+793+794+791+1893+792+2088&Ntk=SI_Titles-Desc&Nty=1&Ntt=martin+brody&limitTo=all&ic4=KeywordSearch-A-Z-071316 In regards to the posts regarding the number of items in this sale, we have been trying to limit the number of items to about 1000 in order to keep the sessions to a more manageable time Happy holidays to everyone! This eBay listing is NOT a Heritage listing. Presumably listed by the 100% legitimate buyer using our images, which We have no problem with. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Star-Trek-49-CGC-9-4-1978-Gold-Key-0148362005-File-Copy-Random-House-Archives/264681342495?hash=item3da03cc61f:g:fOgAAOSwpc1efpTJ -

Just an update. To address a few issues. The consignor is a major EU dealer who attended the Lake Como show which Mignola also attended. We have never had an issue with him over the years. As many of you are aware, we take in may consignments at the deadline. This one slipped through. Mike immediately, confirmed that this is not authentic Joe
-
I know Mike Mignola and have reached out to him to confirm. In the meantime, as we always do in these situations, we will inform both the consignor and winning bidder. We of course, will offer a full refund. By the way, if we were looking at it from a comic art point of view you would promise that this is a classic Kirby layout with the faces coming at you in distress! March 1939 coincides with Jack's entrance into the business. -

..while not as well known as others, UNKNOWN is considered one of the best.. sexy cover, this is newsstand mint, probably a file copy. Also features the Reign of Wizardry for which Frazetta would later create his most provocative cover. -
