  5. I just need confirmation that I'm going forward. I don't want to throw stuff up and then make things even more confusing if people take my offerings and then have to go back two steps. I don't care if its via PM or on the boards - I just need some kind of head nod to go forward.
  6. I'm putting together a couple options for books to offer up. Are we going back to CAHockie's offer? I'll just throw up my offers and go from there.
  7. I'll take option 3. Not sure what I'm getting but I've never gotten anything from the SDCC so I'm game.
  8. Never heard that concept said before Trading thread you say? THE TRADING POST THREAD (thumbs u Thanks for the link. I've never been on any of these threads before. All great ideas.

  10. I was literally typing up the I'll take it for option 3 and I thought I better see if it was still available. Glad the thread is back on track.
  11. Rule 3 - You have 24 hours. It is already there. I still think you should read that first post. I hope the clock starts ticking on your 3 day limit as soon as you take something, though. Or do I need to go back and read the 1st post also? Mine will get snapped up almost immediately I GUARANTEE IT I assume you have taken something within the 1 month time frame so wait 3 weeks or so and post it up. A month goes by so quickly. Was that for me, Cricket, or Kav? Kav Wait-what? I haven't taken anything...... Great. Then you have the option of taking one of the three things available and you item will get the train a Rollin.
  12. You have to factor in the number of SS books being offered is probably going to come up a couple times in a month and while you wait the quick fingers grabbers may eclipse their month and grab the SS you wanted. As long as you see something that interested you I'd grab it and you will be back in the game in a month. I think the new rule to outlaw mystery boxes will keep things moving a lot quicker since people don't like a mystery when they are putting up a comparable book. So, for some people it's all about how much you can take and not at all what you can give. I see. I thought the intent was to post up equal or more than you take? People still want a really cool book so they can post up a even cooler book.

  14. I ask because I don't have $200 worth of books handy that I can throw up right now but I can easily come up with $50 worth of stuff that is not on E-bay or spoken for. Jeesh.

  17. I'm intrigued by the San Diego Comic Con offer but I'm completely unclear on the retail value of the items. Are we talking about a $50 item or $200?
  18. I wouldn't be too worried about finding the right book especially with your inventory of books. If you are worried you can post up various options that are all similar in value and I'm sure a board member will want one of them.
  19. I just noticed this thread the other day and was intrigued since I've never been in the PIF thread before. So this thread is pretty much a comic exchange where people grab books from another member and then try to equal or surpass the books they just picked up. The rules are obviously in place to prevent past problems from reoccurring. The offerings must ebb and flow or else the price of the "gifts" will become so large only the wealthy board members could participate. Of course my anxiety kicks up a couple notches when I think about all the other board members considering my "offerings" but that must be half the fun.
  20. If everyone post up possible books to contribute this thread is going to get even more confusing. I love the books Claudio but please wait until you grab a book first. Just my
  21. Oh you will if you keep spending time on the boards. You may have to give up a lung on the black market but you will get your sweet sweet comics.
  22. Wow - people are posting up some $300 books and original art. Very cool offerings!
  23. I bought a nice graded Secret Wars 8 from his last sales thread and it arrived quickly and very securely. Thanks!
  24. I bought a nice set of Copper / Bronze Age books from his last sales thread and they arrived quickly and in great shape. A+ seller in my book.
