  1. When it comes to something tangible like a comic, vinyl record, or toy that has the most absolute incredible power to catapult you and your senses back in time defying the laws of physics, I place no limits. I stopped bothering to count after 10,000.
  2. I wish in hindsight I would have left just one of my original packs sealed for the sake of nostalgia but as a kid in the 80s, no chance.
  3. Watching these BINs. Just listed $7999 for 2X SS SL TM $6000 SS TM
  4. Fallen off my radar now quite some time ago now but how long has the supply side been so thin on ASM 300 9.8 slabs? Years ago there would be as many as ten of these up at any point in time on eBay. I remember like yesterday winning with my hammer bid on an ASM 300 9.8 SS TM for $625ish.
  5. I finally found my sets I remember racing to the grocery store and peaking through the window bag so that I didn't get the same card again.
  6. For me personally the biggest challenge for any Bat movie transitioning from comic to big screen, is casting/playing the role of Bruce Wayne (BW.) You can change the costume an infinite number of times, tweak the Bat mobile and the Bat cave, his tech gadgets etc. but if BW is not up to par or credible; this is not good and where it falls apart. Two specific examples on the big screen where BW is flawlessly played is Batman Begins when we see BW wandering to the ends of the planet, ultimately to train with the LOS and in DKR when BW ditches the rope to escape Bane's underground pit. Michael Keaton also pleasantly surprised a bunch of folks with his portrayal of BW. Ultimately we all have different story lines, eras, and villains that we read and personally prefer which could influence our movie experience as well. I will keep an open mind on this one.
  7. In the early 80s, only place you could have a chance at finding G1 transformers. This place was stacked to the ceiling with toys.
  8. So regardless of scanner depth, if it is CIS completely punt? I have an Epson (CIS) somewhere with at least 48 bits that I was still hoping to attempt, just for the sake of experimentation.
