A FOX question about Mystery Men #1 and 2...

 

My restored #1 seems to be a good 1/4" shorter in width than my unrestored #2 ... is this consistant with anyone elses #1 and 2? Or, (choke), could my #1 have been trimmed? I don't want to think about that possibility... it doesn't look trimmed, or seem to be missing any art.

 

Maybe Jon Berk can help out here...

I've determined slabs are to prevent drool from damaging the comic. The book was purchased from Steve Wyatt, who is one of my favorite dealers out there.

Now THAT is a real comic book! Congrats

interior art to PL is fantastic though, but drooling is always a risk

Just got this one in today too. Its been at the top of my want list since I saw this book for the first time at the San Diego Comic Con this summer. Would've really liked one in better condition, but the price was right and most of the defects seem to have skipped over the part with the alien, which is the main reason I wanted the comic anyway.
