  1. I'll be listing Tales of Suspense #59 - 99 (complete) later this week (hopefully on Friday night). Not sure if I'll be selling them individually, or as a lot, but I'm leaning towards selling the lot at a discount. I might also list a few SA Caps with them as well...
  2. Coming up tomorrow night: Bargain-priced Bronze and Copper Age DC lots. Many higher grade books, and freebies, too! Listings should start in the "Mixed Age" Forum around 8:00 or so Eastern time tomorrow night (10/3).
  3. (thumbs u Thanks Bryan! Pleasure doing business with you!
  4. Coming up this Sunday afternoon/evening: two short white boxes full of Bronze Age DCs (mostly hero and horror), with several cool CA runs (New Teen Titans, etc.) mixed in as well. There's a wide range of grades, too, so hopefully there'll be something for everyone!
  5. Kudos to iggy for super sharp copies of Iron Man #47 and Defenders #10. Bravo!
  6. Kudos to blue808 for two tightly graded BA keys...very nice books, and fast, secure shipping, as usual. Thanks Bill!
  7. Kudos to pickycollector for some very sharp BA books -- fast shipping from Canada and exemplary packaging, too. Bravo! Thanks Patrick!
  8. (thumbs u Thanks man, glad you got it safe and sound!
  9. (thumbs u Thanks! And thanks also for the fast payment!
  10. A quick suggestion: Could we consider making it mandatory for all sellers in the Marketplace to at least list their general location (e.g., USA, Europe, Canada, etc.) with the other member data beneath their avatar (where it says "Loc:")? I've had some serious problems receiving shipments from outside the USA, so as a general rule I tend to browse and buy from threads from domestic sellers only. Unfortunately, it's sometimes not so easy to tell, esp. when that "Loc:" data is missing. Best, Mikey
  11. Thanks, and back atcha! Despite his reputation on Krypton, genrlzod here on the Boards is a FIRST-RATE buyer!!! (thumbs u
  12. Whoa! That scan looks great! And yeah, it's a nice one. Glad you liked it!
  13. Later this week (Thursday or Friday), I'll be listing a complete run of The Amazing World of DC Comics magazine from the '70s...
  14. Right back atcha, Mike. Great deal, fast shipping, sturdy packaging. Thanks! -Mikey
  15. (thumbs u Thanks, man! Always a pleasure doing business with you!
  16. Coming up later tonight (start around 9:00 PM est)...a BIG lot of BA DCs: some in grade, some not, lots of different titles and genres -- 100-pagers, horror, superheroes, romance, etc. All priced to sell...I hope!
  17. Kudos to MCMiles for a very sharp Tales of Supense #96. Love those later TOS Kirby Cap covers!
  18. Wolverine was never very popular with my friends and I until the Claremont-Byrne run on X-Men. The first X-Men issues we read off the stands were the mid-'70s reprints, and Cyclops was--hands down--the coolest X-Man, and (to us at least) one of the cooler characters in the entire Marvel universe. There was just something about the costume, the visor, the eye beams, etc., that put him over the top for the 10 year-old comic kids at West Creek Hills Elementary School, ca. 1975. I remember seeing the "new" X-Men for the first time at a friend's house (maybe around #96 or so?), and thinking "wow...these characters kinda suck." But a few years later, we were all crazy about the Byrne stuff...and Wolverine.
  19. ...I'd like echo what Marc said re: kain76. Great communication and fast payment on a GL 76 he just bought from me. I thought I was the one who bought your GL 76 two days ago..... ...yours was the last of two copies I had. The first one I sold to kain76 (back on Jan 10), and it was a Fine/Fine+. (thumbs u
