  1. Very nice books being posted. Congrats on the upgrade on the Tarzan David!. Great seeing you in Charlotte again.

Congrats and thanks for all the help Tim!

I was able to scoop up some fun books for my collection as well at the show.

This one has taken a while to secure. When I bought the More Fun Collection in 1995, the only book the collector kept was his Gene Autry #1. I've looked ever since for an affordable copy. The search has ended. Thanks Tyler!

Got this trio from my good buddy Richard (Mr Bedrock). I am very pleased to have them in the house

And the highlight acquistion for me was finally landing a solid lower grade copy of this, long sought after, mini-grail

Again, thanks go to Tyler for this one

Nice pickup Bill! I enjoyed helping you out at the booth!!

  2.

    Heck yeah Tim!!! :cloud9:

Who was the seller of this book? It presents awesome.

Congrats to you man....I was as happy as you when I got mine earlier this year.

Besides this one, how was the pre-code selection at Heroes?

Aaron Bushey from Almost Anything Comics. He is out of Auburn AL. He has had this book for a few years just not really tried to sell it. I have been working with him on it for over a year now. Finally he let go!

The pre-code selection was decent. Aaron had alot, also Terry's comics and a few others.

Your common finds plus all the Menus except 5, all the Venus, and Tomb of Terror #15. By far Terry and Aaron had the best selection of HTF Pre-code horror.

  3. "Come meet my three boys!"

Finally found a Boy #10-- by far the toughest of the classic Iron Jaw covers-- to pair with my #9 and #11! :)

Note: CGC error on label..should read Boy #11

To my knowledge, Boy Comics 9-11 is the first and only instance in GA comics where three consecutive issues have earned "classic cover" status.

Very jealous. I would love to find these books.

    Very nice!!!!!

  4. Only bought three books at SDCC this year. Two were left with CGC so I won't have them for a few months, but this one came home with me.

Been looking for a copy for quite some time now. I did a triple take when I saw it peeking out from behind another book on the dealer's wall. Thought my eyes were deceiving me, but happily they weren't.

    :)
