  1. I can barely make out the CGC serial number on the "new" JLA #1 CGC 9.4 on ebay (from Avalon Collectibles...) Looks like the same serial number as the Toth Copy....I smell a scam here...
  2. I can't read the cert. # or I'd be able to tell you if is the Toth copy. I have most of them memorized. Here is the Toth copy...which happens to be in the Lewis Wayne Galleries' ebay store... http://www.lewiswaynegallery.com/comics/jloa1.jpg
  3. These JLA #1 CGC 9.4's are coming out of the woodwork... or is this the Toth book from a different seller....or a scam... http://cgi.ebay.com/JUSTICE-LEAGUE-OF-AMERICA-1-CGC-9-4-NO-RESERVE_W0QQitemZ370144072412QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item370144072412&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
  4. This certainly changes my view on the value of the 9.0 I agree with Tim...can't believe no one would pay $35K for a CGC 9.4 JLA #1.... JLA #1 CGC 9.0 is already at $11K.... If a CGC 9.4 can only get $30K...then how much is a 9.2 and 9.0 worth??
  5. Thanks Tim (thumbs u My new scanner is also much better than the old crappy one...
  6. JLA 70 went for over $700 ...I wasn't even following the sunday auction.... Hefty prices on the JLA #65 and 66....I remember similar numbers for JLA #64 and 66 in a previous Comiclink auction months back... Anyone interested in a JLA #64 or #66 CGC 9.6 is there a 66 available?? Michael, Scan will be sent shortly...
  7. Got my #66 in '05. Upgrade my #64...? PQ? Pic? Price? Rick Rick, I know it has White Pages... I did get a scanner for Christmas, but I haven't yet taken it out of the box... just been too busy at work...will try to post a scan in the next week or so... Price... ...negotiable... Finally have the new scanner up and functional, as of tonight..... JLA #64 CGC 9.6 White Pages....

  9. I'm waiting to get a new scanner for Christmas, so I can sell some books...need to build up some funds
  10. Rick got a great deal from me on a 9.6 #78 then. Seems like the action was mostly in the later issues, though. The prices for the earlier issues were not particularly impressive, even though there were a decent number of 9.6s. On the other hand, a 9.6 #28 went for $1800 in one of the recent Sunday auctions, which was amazing. The February Heritage Auction previews are showing a very nice run of JLAs, it will be interesting to see how they do. Tim, Are those your Pacific Coast JLA's? Natch. A few more in the 20s will be appearing soon. Anyone who checks out the Ducks thread in the GA Forum will be able to see why I need to sell some JLAs. I just checked out that thread....FC #9 9.4.... Sweet Book Tim!!
  11. I can't believe these auction prices...anything in high-grade is going for more and more money I have many of the later numbered JLA's....maybe they will go for $1000+ if I wait a couple more months...

  14. You would think the post office would actually deliver the package to the address on the box, instead of just storing it away in one of their bins...
  15. BD, I believe he was a Canadian Doctor that collected comics in the late 50's and early 60's...I know there was a JLA #1 CGC 9.4...I remember that he has a son who also collects (I think the son was more into Marvel than DC).... If you want to know more, check out the heritage website...there may be more of an official biography
  16. If only I were strong enough to maintain such strict standards. One of my favorite covers... I believe this is the one and only highest graded
