    I would be extremely annoyed if Miley Cyrus was Batgirl...on a personal note I don't really like plastic man. Sadly he doesn't have many fans. I feel they should keep away from comedy so it isn't similar to Avengers. Make JLA a serious movie. The Dark Knight was a serious movie it didn't need laughs (other than joker laughing) everything was serious drama/action. +1

Yuk Anyone get an economy FT back recently? you are in for a wait. my fast track prescreens from a month ago 8/16 just got shipped. and my non fast track prescreen from 8/6 is still at received. last month i had a prescreen fast track turn around that was 2 weeks. 7/23 received shipped 8/7. so something, probably the cons, is holding them up. Thanks man. Maybe it is best i forget about it and work on building another sub.

    I am not surprised. It is a second rate key at best. I have thought prices were way way way too high for many years.

    Does it even have to be a definitive date? Don't eras usually overlap, one fades out as the other rises. So you never have a set day/month/year just stylistic features that become more pronounced over time with a corresponding reduction in the old era features.

    I really think this is a little extreme - sure, some comic enthusiasts will be disappointed (part of me thinks this would happen regardless of choice for Batman), but if the movie does $1B at the box office, you think the residual affect on associated collectibles will be negative? I really don't like posting in this thread (because I have personal biases about the book and own several copies), but I really think this choice will HELP the franchise, not hurt it. Ben's star right now is sky high with Argo. But hey, this is the speculation thread, where anything can happen! what happens in the "BB28: speculation on future pricing" thread, stays in the "BB28: speculation on future pricing" thread I wouldn't worry our opinions will sway the market or anything, there's like 6 of us posting here regularly The influence of this board is surprising.

    That is a sharp looking 8.0. I agree. When I sent it in I was expecting it back at a minimum 9.0-9.2. I saw no noticable flaws when I sent it in. When I got it back there was a small color breaking crease at the bottom right corner of the front cover. I might have missed it but I don't think so. I think the HOM #174 got hammered too. Yeah HoM does look sharp except for the scrape/tape pull in the top right corner. I thought that everyone complaining was just moaning as people can't grade but the last month has been very strict.
