I know what you're talking about. A lot of people confuse that with the pictures of the Hulk on the wall in Tales of Suspense 33, but that came out in Sept 1962, whereas Hulk 1 was May 1962.
Let me dig around and see if I can find what you're talking about. It was a billboard in the background of one of the stories.
That Millie 107 is awesome though!
Yep. Good luck finding it. I looked in a ton of comics. If you have an idea of what issue this happened in let me know. My collection is in very good order. And I have all of the comics it might have been in, unless I have it graded. 👍🏻

Yeah, with those issues quoted I would imagine that this has to be the book that @*Bronze age fan* was looking for!
No, that was not it. I knew about that issue having them in it. We were talking about a sign that referenced the Hulk was coming prior to his first appearance.

You picked up a World of Fantasy #9; you were missing that one IIRC.
World of Suspense #1 always reminds me of a Mad Magazine drawing. There's something about the spirit on the tablecloth.
I need World of Fantasy #7 for the set now. That’s a hard comic to find a nice VG or better copy.

How's the organizing going ?

Went good bro. Did all the older stuff. But I have newer comics (like 1985 to maybe 2015 when I stopped collecting new books) in different boxes. I have to funnel like 5 long boxes of new books into 18 long boxes. But then I am done. Haha Then I can do fun stuff, like changing out some bags and boards. Never ends. Haha

It must have sold already. I don't see a 5.5 listed currently on eBay. Did it say how much it was selling for?
I bought it. 457. Someone bid exactly what the registry points were. What did you pick yours up for?

i'll take it on thread trumps p.m.'s, but i'll listen to reasonable counters. returns accepted. s/h on me domestic, actual s/h foreign mailout. p'pal fine.
ideal 4, witness appearance. no gpa info at all, i can't see where even a raw one has sold in the last 10 years. vg+, o/w, there's a tear under the 10c on right edge. little flap at bottom spine. $175.
Bit of worthless info.....This title later with issue #6 turned into Love Romance from Marvel, which ran to #106. Cool book.

Another one just hit the bay, if anyone's still looking to join the club. Starting 750, looks a bit rough with some loose pages. Thinking it'll end at 1200, taking bets.
What do you think a CGC 5.0 would sell for?

I wish my brain could remember, but was there not a panel shown in a story with a poster on a wall saying 'the Hulk is coming'?In my minds eye I remember it being on a brick wall, yellow paper with words in red?
What’s up bro?
‘I checked a few chick comics around the Hulk 1, Millie 106 108, Linda Carter Student Nurse 5, Kathy 16, no luck in any of those. I really thought it was the Millie 106, that had a cool cross over story where Millie meet Stan and Jack, and her on the cover of an issue of Strange Tales in the story. But I was wrong. I gotta put this stuff in order one day. Looking for comics breaks me, can only do it in short bursts. Haha But I am still looking for it.

This thread inspired me to add a second copy to my collection- it’s just such a unique legacy character first Appearance- atlas, 1955, Stan Lee story, awesome cover, multiple first Appearances (the sword, Morgan le fay, the black knight) and extremely low supply. If there was ever a confirmation of a black knight in the mcu, even if it were Dane (doubt it will be sir Percy), this book is set for explosive growth.
Hoarder! Nice looking copy.
