  1. I'm putting a bunch of slabs up for sale over the next couple days. Mostly bronze/copper ASMs but also some other spidey slabs and a few other miscellaneous slabs that aren't fitting into my collection anymore.
  2. Great books Adam. That is one sweet ape!
  3. Kudos to Twistty1 for a quick payment and a smooth transaction. Now go help him out by buying some of his Adams Batman books in the Selling Forum.
  4. WALKING DEAD #54 ...and maybe the Walking Dead Hardcover #4. I'm a sucker for these even though I have all the singles.
  5. Great cover! (thumbs u My sights have been set on a high grade copy of FF121 for a while now.
  6. Kudos to The Resurrection for a sweet deal on some Bronze Marvel horror books. Doubled my TOD and WBN collection in one fell swoop. Thanks Pat!!
  7. Kudos to Buck Biggins for two sets of very cool pins.
  8. Kudos to joeypost for a couple of copper Silver Surfer lots. The price was right and books were in great condition. Thanks Joe!! (thumbs u
  9. Diary of the Dead was originally made for DVD. Romero didn't want the studios involved (as they were with Land) and wanted to make Diary as independent as possible (much like Night of the Living Dead). So the limited theater release that it had was actually a bonus. I liked Diary quite a bit. The acting was a bit underwhelming but it is definitely worth a watch and, in my opinion, superior to Land. It goes back to the beginning when the zombie outbreak is just starting and is creative in the different ways that the footage (like a documentary) is shot. The social commentary that usually separates a Romero zombie film from the rest is alive and well (if, maybe, a bit overstated). Would make a good watch on Halloween. (thumbs u Enjoy! See if you can find the voiceover that Stephen King did for the film. I have to agree with a lot of your thoughts on Diary..., I liked it a lot as well and thought it was much better than Land... . My wife also enjoyed it (she's a keeper!), and we both loved the deaf Amish character. I actually wished his part in the film was a bit bigger....Romero was surely adding his own commentary about technological advancements through this character's heroic appearance. Heck, imho, there is no such thing as a bad George Romero flick My wife liked it too (also a keeper). She is actually ahead of me in the Y: The Last Man trades and Walking Dead is next for her. The Amish character definitely needed more screen time. There was a lot of unexplored potential there. Hail to Zombie Master...George Romero!
  10. I have been picking up copper ASM in 9.8 rather cheaply in the past few weeks. The "economic downturn" is good for something.

  12. Both of those have great covers. They are officially added to the want list. I will sacrifice a bit of wear for nice colors any day.
  13. Last but certainly not least...one of my favorite Jungles. Great colors on this one.
  14. Lost Valley copy... Another great cover. Very tempted to bust this one out of the case and enjoy those white pages.
  15. And now my favorite FH title....Planet Comics :cloud9:
  16. You don't see these very often...and is a good way to clear the palate between the GGA.
  17. Fiction House now rivals ASM has my collecting focus. Here are some books I've picked up through Comick Link, Comic Connect, and these wonderful boards.
  18. True. Why can't the apocalypse be the result of a chemistry experiment by 12 year-olds in a treehouse? That would be somewhat original.
  19. Spider Sense Tingling Kudos to Dollarbill for a really nice CGC 9.4 ASM 125 with white pages. Thanks again Rich. (thumbs u
  20. Kudos right back at ya John. I'm glad you like them. Thanks for the smooth transaction.
