  1. I'm just teasing, no harm intended We DO have similar tastes though
  2. I need to figure out a way to send you and @ Pontoon on a beautiful, relaxing tropical vacation, maybe deep in the rainforest where no internet or cellular signal can penetrate Until then ASM 53
  3. Saw the notification and foolishly thought, well these are kinda off-hours maybe I'll have a second to browse the list...
  4. Daredevil 103 - 7.5 OW $15 Daredevil 63 - 4.0 OW $5
  5. Hmmm... I have been getting CGCs back pretty consistently over the last week so I figured I'd have more waiting for me at my LCS today. Alas, no more slabs just yet. So I will be scanning books tonight and scanning books tomorrow and we'll wrap up the first round of books on Friday. More ASM to come but almost entirely run filler with some smaller keys. May start to sprinkle in some modern keys here and there to break up the ASM run filler but nothing tooooooo major on that front. If anyone would like me to process what they've already claimed just shoot me a PM and I can get you invoiced and shipped the following day. Otherwise invoices from this round will go out on SUNDAY. Thank you everyone!
  6. I think I'm getting some more slabs in on Wednesday... I was subbing pretty regularly a few months back and they've started to trickle in. Got 2 more back from a prescreen on Saturday but they're both for my PC. I might have a few I plan to release come in on Wednesday when I head back to my LCS though. And I'm thinking about whether I want to get any of the rejects pressed and resubbed or if I might let them go raw. Decisions, decisions If you would like your order shipped sooner than later please reach out to me by PM, I'll invoice you, and I can get them out next day. Otherwise I'll probably send the first round of invoices on Wednesday. Thank you!
  7. And to wrap it up for tonight... Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham #1 1st solo series of Peter Porker Spider-Ham 1st comic from Marvel's Star Comics imprint 1st DUCKTOR DOOM! $25
  8. The Goblin was never a match for Spider-Man physically which this cover depicts brilliantly. MEAN headlock. Little nicer than #96 $50. Take em both for $90. Unfortunately don't have a spare copy of part 3 - SOLD
  9. This book was published without the approval of the Comics Code Authority, a watershed moment that led to the CCA loosening their guidelines - which immediately led to the creation of Morbius the Living Vampire - and signaled the beginning of the end of the CCA as a whole. Rumor has it that Marvel heard through the grapevine that DC was doing a drug story themselves - in the infamous Green Lantern 85 and 86 - and Stan rushed to beat them to the punch. In later interviews Stan said he knew absolutely nothing about drugs and in his mind the pills Harry took were just... Drugs. So while Harry seems to be on LSD in the issue Stan didn't know enough about any particular drug to have written that in. Thankfully he guessed well enough for readers to match Harry's episode to something that actually existed $50 - SOLD
  10. Another awesome Romita cover. Great action, excellent detail, lots of motion, signed his name on one of the books in the corner, the cigarettes tossed into the air from the ash tray... eventually I'm going to pony up for a nice high grade book signed by JRSR and this may end up being the one for me. Love this cover. This copy is detached at the top staple $15 - SOLD
  11. This story features the permanent, irreversible, there's no way he can ever come back death of Silvermane. $20 - SOLD
  12. 2nd Silvermane, 1st cover appearance of Silvermane More importantly the introduction of this petrified tablet which was key to the best storyline for the 90's Spider-Man cartoon. So cool. There's a tear on Silvermane's left hand FYI $15 - SOLD
  13. Forgot one. Didn't scan this one because I hate my scanner This one has coupons cut out. Doesn't affect the story. $10
  14. IMO, this is a nice book. Kingpin cover. Couple extra staples unfortunately. Also features the sex number. $20 - SOLD Back in the good ole days before Daredevil stole all of Spidey's mobster villains!
  15. Blackie Drago is BACK! And Toomes is in on it too in IMO one of Romita's best covers from this run $25* - SOLD, and not to PHIL JACKSON. Sorry, Phil! *The caption on the back reads, "Phil Jackson 'I Got The Urge'", which means, naturally, that if your name is Phil Jackson this bad boy can be yours for just $15. Name must be verified. If you are 11-time NBA Champion and Naismith Hall of Fame coach Phil Jackson you can either pay full price or trade me for an autographed Phil Jackson basketball card. I know you got it, Phil!
  16. Okay, this one is a looker but it DOES have a sub crease which is mostly noticeable on the back. I had the fine folks at the CGC boards, whatever those are, do a PGM on this book which you can see here $85 - SOLD
  17. Our next issue features the first meeting of two giants within the Marvel Universe Of course there's Peter Parker the Amazing Spider-Man and... KA-ZAR! $20 - SOLD
  18. Guess who's back? Back again? Honestly I don't even like that song. Doc Ock appearance. $25 SOLD
  19. It all starts here! First THWIP sound effect! 1st Looter too, though he now goes by Meteor Man. Tape restoration. Sweet Ditko cover. $40
  20. Oh and I have another copy of ASM #28, this one is raw, more a 1.8/2.0 than the slabbed copy, and also features tape restoration $65 SOLD!
  21. And since this is such a fun story arc let's go with a reader copy of #27, the fifth appearance of the Green Goblin and Tape restoration, $55, betcha can't beat that with a stick - SOLD!
