  1. I need some help understanding the grade, and also the state of this book whether it would come back restored or universal. My concerns are the tape near the staples, and also some kind of what looks to be an adhesive on the bottom of the cover (appears better with the inside shot of the cover.) Thank you.
  2. There are two tears (pictured) on an inside page the longer one is 1 inch. Thank you,
  3. Thank you for your input. I'm a little confused about the staple discoloration you mention. Are you referring to the bottom staple? i checked on the comic and it's pretty light and silver i think it just came out dark in the photo.
  4. I did not purchase it of the shelf. I think i got it at a convention maybe right after it came out.
  5. I have six high grade copies of Web of Spider-man #1. Two of them have this vertical streak/coloring on the front cover near the spine. Looking on ebay listings I noticed a few copies up for sale/sold have this same issue, as well. Anyone know what this is, and whether or not this will effect the grade of a comic I made a post on FB comic page regarding this issue, and one response i got was "This is what's called a dust shadow it happens when the book or the cover has dust on it and it blocks ultraviolet while the rest of the book fades." If this is true it must of happen while these comics were sitting in a warehouse before disurbution. Like i said, i noticed this on a number of copies of this book being sold online and they're all in the same spot, with varying intensity. So i would like to get a grade on this book, to understand how something like this would impact the grade. Thank you in advance.
  6. Hi Everyone, There's some staining on the back cover, and a scratch near the spine that's visible from the back. I have close ups of it in the photos. I'm probably going to CGC this. DO you guys think a press/would help the grade? Looking forward to your estimates. Eric
  7. For grading purposes Is Marvel Previews #95 considered a magazine or a comic book submission?
  8. Is Marvel Previews 95 considered a magazine, or a comic submission for grading?
  9. i'm not sure which is the first, but this one is sure a nice double-spread.
  10. Hi, I updated this posting. The centerfold on this is actually attached. I had confused it with another FF issue i was photographing.
  11. Here's a copy of FF #36 for your consideration. (I originally posted that the centerfold was detached. This was a mistake. The centerfold is intact.) I had confused it with another issue.
  12. Overall a good copy. Flat and intact. There are too small tears on the bottom of the back cover. Let me know your thoughts on the grade, and one after a press/clean. I'm considering getting it graded. Only 61 on the CGC census with 23 being universal. Thanks you!
  13. It's the knightfall run 1-19 i got it for $10 (shipped) and the damage probably happened during shipping i don't think there's much point in contacting the seller.
  14. Here's a Fantastic Four #15 for your consideration. It's pretty beat up. 2.0?!? And as far as the writing on the cover and the tape inside front cover I'm not sure where this falls. I'd appreciate some thoughts on it.
  15. I just received a run of NM comics but a few of them had some corner damage during shipping. How does this effect the grade of a comic. I'd say the comics are all in the 9.2-9.6 range without the dings? Thanks.
  16. yeah the corner is gone once the seller removed it from the bag to look inside for restoration.
  17. Yes, the piece did fall off after i asked the seller to check the inside cover for restoration. The missing piece on the front page, and the cut on the inside page were not very visible or mentioned in the listing. It' only after i purchased i found out about them. i'm attaching photos available from the listing.
  18. What is the highest grade possible with a small tear on the front page. Silver age comic. h
