What brought me to these boards (around 15 years ago) was to research, and understand about CGC grading, and the process. I was fascinated with a graded copy of a book that my parents had taken away from me in my childhood, as it gave me nightmares. —Tomb of Dracula #1 After receiving this copy, I was hooked wanting to complete this series graded. (with some other favorite titles) an addiction now for sure.. what was your first graded comic?

Yes, in The Max Universe. One of the most brutal/bloody fights ever !! Just the end of that battle... —They are introducing Barracuda into the mainstream Marvel timeline. I know Barracuda will be tamed down for the Marvel Universe, hope they can still do the character Justice, as brutal as they can.

Agee, @slym2none Still, I’ve seen worse- I need a copy in CGC 9.8 to complete my graded collection. ( besides it’s the story inside that counts, right. 🧐) 👍

Knowledgeable grading is important in this hobby!!I I purchased this item off eBay, graded (9.8 All grading) , to see how grading was, hoping for the best 🤞 Once in hand I realized it would grade no better than a 9.0.. No way would I pay for submission to CGC once in my hands..Took a chance, To see how the seller was grading, after I received the comic I just informed seller that they were paying a grading company that was way off. I didn’t ask for any refunds or compensation. Just let the seller know the grading company he was using was off (by my and CGC standards.) the seller was appreciative of the info. *— Know how to grade, before submitting.. my

Very true @Hollywood1892 —especially with big life events, and LCS closings (times ago, before internet) but seem to always come back stronger.
