Been for a 9.8 ASM 210. I was thinking of bidding on this auction, but looking at the scans.  I see at least 3-4 very large spine creases as well a dirty back cover.    How did this get a 9.8?  😕🤷‍♂️

The thief may have had it resub’d but there is a very distinguishable printing error (small dark circular inkspot above the tricep of his swinging left arm).  It’s a longshot but if anyone have seen this book please let me know.  There’s a $2500 reward for any lead which results in me reclaiming the book.  Hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I’m going to take this to the next level.  I’m trying to get in touch with the postmaster (in FL) to open an investigation.  Question is, do I contact the postmaster in Boca Raton FL or my local one?  Or maybe both?   It’s like pulling teeth even to get through to a live person on the phone.   I’ve been really down about this but I look at the fact that it’s just a comic book and there are more important things in my life.

As for insurance, I have collect-insure but they’re dragging their feet.   😓  I know some board members are insured w/ them...Any tips on how to deal with them?   Thanks again everyone for your support. It really means a lot.  Take care.  

USPS transit status was “in transit”, it reached the Boca Raton USPS warehouse and that’s where it stopped. Status never changed. So it was never delivered.  I have private insurance but they seem to be dragging their feet, so I may need to seek legal help.  😞

Just putting this out here in case anyone can help out.  I sent this book out to a fellow collector on 08/13/20 USPS certified mail from California.  It reached Boca Raton, FL on 08/17/20 then mysteriously dissapeared.  I called and called every day hoping to find it. Always getting the usual non-answers from the postal employees.  Finally on 09/20/20 they told me to stop calling and that consider the package lost and deal with it.   😓

The package was stolen from someone in Boca Raton Florida. I called the local police on the off chance they would assist and was basically told that I had no proof a theft had occurred. 

I had a lot of money invested into this book and was hoping to use the funds towards supporting myself and my family since being furloughed in May due to Covid-19.

it seems like their machine is scorching/searing off the inks.  I wish I had never sent in my books.  This is really bad.  Needless to say, I’m fuming right now. 🤬😡🤬  I’m going to contact them for an explanation.  But  not holding my breath. 
 

ugh NEVER AGAIN.  I sent in a SS GL 76 that was definitely an upgrade with a press.  After they pressed the book it sustained damage that wasn’t there prior.  There is a HUGE color rub/burn at the bottom staple. This is amateur hour.

So I basically paid them to ruin my book.  🤬😡

 this BS.  I have to drive 60 miles to the distribution warehouse to pick up my package.  FedEx absolutely refuse to hold it at their location down the street from my house due to CGC’s restriction.
