Raise the price of bulk to $15/card to cut off 20% of current/new Bulk submission customers, easing the back-log bottleneck resulting in quicker cycle times on the higher tiers and bulk as well. CGC will make it back tenfold as more people use a quicker (but more expensive) Standard/Express tier as a logical economic trade off.

No one wins when piles of low-tier cards sit around collecting dust because every Timmy wants to Bulk grade their common Charmanders from XY Evolutions. Price the Timmy's out CGC!

Why does it matter what ppl want graded. Jus like base set, every card is worth grading and have value. Should just stick to being good on tat.. not rob us for every bit of money and have us take forever

Just wait until they start grading sports cards and bulk grading shippers start sending in 10,000+ cards a week. Raising prices and hope that people stop sending stuff has proven to be the wrong approach if they’re looking to reduce turnarounds however it’s great for maximizing profits.

They jus like all other companies smh.they had a chance to be the leader.soon a new company will do the same thing as cgc with great tat and everyone gonna move on hoping they stay the same

No their turnaround times are the lowest. This isn't the same thing as saying they're the fastest.

Correct because they're less backlogged. PSA has an entire warehouse of backlog.

There's 0 indication that CGC won't end up like that and there has been little reassurance they have found a solution to the ever increasing turnaround times in fact they've taken the same approach PSA has that resulted in their turnaround times.

Exactly they following all other company's, instead of fixing the issue they have right now then raise prices to show us they are working hard and its gonna help us out with better tat, they chose to charge more and give worse service. Which is gonna be their downfall. Before raising prices u should make sure everything is running slow. Because there's ppl who still have orders of bulk from November still on received. And if its taking them over 3 months for their stuff, my bulk is 12/21 I can only imagine my order will not get to me until at least June. Which is the psa route lol

That isnt a correction. CGC is the fastest for bulk right now and fastest for other grading speeds. Everywhere else is almost half a year to a quarter of a year wait for bulk.  And yes with PSA you would make more money on 10 grades vs 9.5, but you have to trade more of your time to do so. Long term, there wont really be a difference outside of 9.5's vs 10s. There will probably be more grading companies in the future and it will be to a point to where the label of the company will be irrelevant, which even right now is starting to be the case. Its getting to the point to where people just care that its graded and a professional gave an opinion on it. Ive seen GMA cards (yes, the place that is ran by 1 guy) have premiums on them now. That is just because the market is red hot and CGC knows it, hence why they bump up their prices a bit in spite of their issues

A bit, they raised it alot, and in some cases cost more than others. They should fix their tat first before raising. Dont live by we are the fastest and then let everyone down and robbed everyone

Well they can, and they did, so...

I think you're looking at this as some sort of 'magical' immediate solution. Not all solutions are immediate. On-boarding and implementations take time.

Yeah they went the wrong route is what I'm coming to. If they wanted to stay on top of things they should've fixed their issues then raise prices. But they went the psa route and did nothing but raise price and tat. Its bad for customers which is only gonna have us stop sending in our cards which is less business for them.

I'm sorry, but I don't think that you thought this through. More demand = more employees required to keep TATs relatively similar. There is no circumstance in which an unlimited demand can be met. If people continue to flood the gates, then they have to raise costs, because they have to hire more people or TATs will be forever.

They are still charging per order. Orders that cost thousands, they have the capital and are not fixing the problem. U can't reward them with more money without it being resolved first. Look at psa and bgs. They raised prices and turnaround got worse. U have to fix the problem then raise prices. U can't raise prices and then ask for forgiveness later

I think the price increases and wait times are rather sad. I understand they are getting busy nowadays but increasing the prices will push many people away. This was the one company we were hoping not to see that from. Two price increases within 8 months. (What is the point in using the newer company now?) You are charging more than BGS for sub grades in bulk (9 + 7 = 16) that is absolutely bonkers. Some people also like getting charged instant so they don't have to magically hope theirs money still in their account.

They are not affordable anymore, unless they raise the bulk limit price to somewhere around 200$ limit. If not its gonna hurt using subgrades for bulk orders. They are trying to take more money from us and saying it will help with turnaround times. Which is false, they should've resolved the issue to have us feel better and then raise prices. Cause at least then we will be happy that at least our cards will get back to us on time. Not double the turnaround time and say who knows when u will get ur card back and we gonna charge u more for a worse customer service

More submissions = more graders, which means that they need more $$$$$ to keep turnaround times relatively close to what they are now.

If you have more submissions but no more money coming in, then that means no extra graders or employees, which means that TATs will skyrocket.

Um I'm sorry but I don't think u thought this thru. They make alot on submissions. So if they have more submissions that means they have money coming nonstop. They need to hire and keep turnaround times down before they lose their customers. Right now I'm not sending anymore of my cards because they haven't hit a turnaround time on any of my orders and they messed up on 2 orders. Now their turnaround times is messed up and who knows when ill get my bulk order back because they are still doing orders from November which is ridiculous. They turned into psa, which what they did was say freeze anyone's order that isn't express.which is a horrible business method. Raising prices when they can't get stuff under control= bad customer service.  Raising prices isn't gonna help them its gonna push us away

  9. They are already expensive, and getting more pricey. They raised sub grades another 3 dollar per cards. And added 5 extra business days to go with the turnaround time. Then they gonna say the 5 days is estimated and add extra time on that.smh they need to stop the bs and start living up to what they do. Dont charge more and still do a bad job about turnaround times. Fix the issues before raising prices. You are jus gonna push us away from yall to another company

I don’t know what to do at this point. I submitted on Dec. 3rd, FedEx said the package was delivered at the RIGHT address, it’s been more than 45 days and still says CGC has not received anything when I check the status of my cards and I have emailed them a couple of days ago and have not gotten a response.9BE76EC6-7922-4A0F-A49D-D1FDA2966EB5.thumb.jpeg.35b7e66b0ab81102a3e2b77660842dbd.jpeg

I always call to make sure, and they will tell u, hey if it said received we will have it since our po is in the warehouse. But I would think they would try to keep up feeling less worried cause right now it can be lost and u wouldn't know.  Ill jus call if I was u

    did you not get tracking?

I did and its been stuck at a warehouse for over a week. The post office said cgc messed up the address and that it won't get to me until they retrieve it but cgc is saying its not there fault and they did it right. So I'm jus angry with cgc service. They take a long time and now idk when ill get my package

They don't choose the shipping though, they give you the option when you sign up for your submission can do UPS, Fed Ex, or USPS and there are multiple shipping speeds offered such as FedEx Ground, FedEx Overnight. What return shipping option did you select?

I picked the insured usps, but its been over a week and its still not moving

    Bulk no subgrades

    Received: 11/10

    Shipped: 1/5

    Bulk with subgrades

    Received: 11/10

    Shipped: 1/7

Side note on a Standard I sent that was received 11/10 it got shipped on 12/02. This was before they changed the working days.

Hey can u update when u finally receive your stuff back. Cause they shipped mines 12/30 and its still in transit. They charge alot for shipping but seems they choose the slowest way back

Had this happen to me too, thought I paid for subgrades for my standard order and it came back without. I'm not particularly unhappy about it as it helps the value for me, I am now mainly just curious of the grades.

I did pay for it they told me to reship it out to them and they will put the grades on and then mail it back. But who has time to wait even more for their mistake
