Some orders just move faster than others once they enter the grading process. Not really a big deal, I had a 4/5 received Walkthrough order and a 4/8 received Walkthrough order that both got finalized/imaged/shipped on 4/14. The 4/5 should have theoretically completed a couple days before the 4/8, but does not really bother me at all as long as things keep moving along.

Bro that’s not the same. He’s been waiting for 4 months so no it’s not the same. Once something gets put on scheduled for grading there’s a process and a order. It has to be a section keeping things in order and not jus thrown together and ur pulling orders out of a bag and whoever gets pulled it’s their turn. That’s so disrespectful

Bulk with no subgrades (77 card submission)  - marked received on 12/18

    Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 4/16.

So took just about 4 calendar months

Bulk with subgrades (33 card submission) - marked as received on 12/18

Currently still in scheduled for grading.( so looks like the subgrades taking longer will be impacting older orders)

Which it shouldn’t cause that wasn’t the a problem before they switched it months later but whatever we are at their mercy

I think some folks are missing the focus of my question. My cards are already submitted and have been sitting in received for the past 4 months. In these past 4 months Pokemon cards have significantly fluctuated in value: some surpassing the bulk pricing of $99 raw. My concern is I don't want to get upcharged for these cards since they've been sitting at CGC for 4 months. I would hop

My thinking is the same as yours: I would hope that they wouldn't upcharge and as a result of waiting several more months that they would acknowledge that these were cards that fit within this tier and all is well. I just wanted to see of any other people had any different experiences.

I def understood, cgc should go ahead and make a update and let ppl know ahead of time. They should always be able to give some slack since they raised tats over and over

Hey, at least if you sent in anything modern it will come back vintage - look on the bright side! They'll either sit at home collecting dust (possibly getting damaged), all the while you're wishing you had sent them in, or they can sit over at CGC and eventually return back to you graded and dazzling. Shrug. We're talking about luxury cardboard items.

Thats def true, will be vintage by the time they are done with them lol

Hoping my 12-11 Bulk Scheduled moves so that you guys can move faster!

This company is still doing things the wrong way and have no pity for it. Its a bad business practice to not care for ur customers at all. U say only big cards matter but bulk is nothing to us. But already take my money and still have me on wait and use its estimated smh. And then when its finally done they will say we'll our updated tat says 144 so we got that right smh

    Hi all,

I have a bulk submission that was submitted on 12/17 with no progress and was wondering if my declared value for the cards at the time is "grandfathered in". Example: I have a Ultra Prism Lillie that at that time was only going for 60 but now clearly going for 250+. Since it hasn't been graded yet do they go by the value of card once it begins to be graded or is it the value based on time stamp of having been received by CGC? Thank you all in advance.

    Brandon

I asked this same question a while back and got no response and feel it should be given a break because they slowed down the bulk speed on tats. I have cards from evolutions that wasn't that expensive until they came out saying its out of print and blew up in price. They should give a pass on that at least since they waited too.long

If my order was postmarked the 24th of march does mine fall under the 111 days or am I .. About to be disappointed.

U are gonna see at least 4 increases. My order was recieved in December and its still on recieved. I've seen 5 increases so its safe to say u will see alot of tweaks to the tat. I say returns in March won't be back until January or further

I mean if it costs 10 bucks to grade the card and you sell it for 20 you doubled your money. Not sure how a 100 percent return is worth it to you.

Because more value has to be put into that account. It jus doesn't cost 10 for the card. The money used to pull the card, then the grading fee, then the shipping fee to send that card and then the shipping fee into getting the card back and whatever materials used. Its alot more than jus saying u spend 10 and sell for 20. Ur losing

The issue is that its virtually impossible to scale this type of business. You cant scale card grading, pure and simple. Since card grading is such a niche skill, you cant just hire infinite workers. And the thing is that the card industry isnt going to grow forever. These companies are going to have major layoffs at some point since its not something that is going to grow indefinitely and there will be a crashing of the bubble. Pokemon was in a bubble during the 2nd generation and when 3rd gen hit, a bunch of cards took a hit and lots of businesses closed shop. Its fad status officially died out and its going to happen again at some point since like any fad, it doesnt last forever.

Like I know Paul is just a customer support rep and he only gets so much info from management, but Im shocked he hasnt just quit by now lol since behind the scenes, I cant imagine it being pretty. Its going to suck if you live in Sarasota and rely on mail since their mail system is on track to being really screwed up. And CGC not addressing this, yeah we are looking at a really bad situation pretty soon. And the mail opening being from early March, like I dont see how they think thats normal. But whats crazy is that, its going to get 10x worse than where its at now and with no response, yeah Im 100% glad I paid and pulled out. People arent listening to me and thats fine since its their life, not me, but wow Im so glad I paid the unofficial price tax and got my stuff back LOL My bulk/economy from february would have came back around 2050 if I didnt.

U see what we were talking about. We just wanna get that bulk from dec back. They should've prioritized the tat alil better, instead of pausing the bulk and economy to do others. Economy def shouldn't be wit bulk since u pay 12 more per card. They seriously just had prepaid and basically used that to try and scale is what it seems

That little nick dropped it to a 5.5? Lol okay I guess I’ll take it as is. Not reselling by any means, this was the first full art card I pulled so I wanted to preserve it for memory.

I pulled a rainbow rare Team Yell Grunt in the pack right after. It was a fun night.

I don't see why jus that nick, theirs other small scrape like on the sides but I don't understand why it's a 5.5 ( thats sad

Economy submission: 9 cards no subgrades

    12/9: Received

    3/30: Scheduled for grading

    Total days: 111

Business days: 78 minus 4 days for holidays so 74 total business days.

So I guess that's beating the current TAT of 110 working days by a month.

Scheduled for grading means nothing, gonna take a good while to get thru the next steps

Sp33dy how are your orders coming along? I’m legit curious to see if they’ve progressed any or if you’re still stuck in an endless cycle of self anguish.

Still in limbo. Lol  u Homer's that keep saying they are gonna get to it are right. Because that sentence can mean today or next yr lol. Yall mad because ppl are using logic. Dont get mad lets all love eachother lol

Don't be worried.  They have a great process set up that ensures they do not lose cards.

The last reported change in bulk submissions is from a 12/8 submission on 3/25.  They have been grading a day's-worth of bulk submissions every 4 days, so we should see movement on 12/9 submissions today or tomorrow, 12/10 submissions next Monday due to the holiday, and then 12/11 submissions late next week or early the week of April 12th.

It seems like this is the way and its sad that they think this a working system. My bulk sub is 12-21. So basically a week=a sub day. So it looks like I have another 3 months. Lol for something that they said was a 30 day tat
