i wish he'd collect these in a sweet hard cover book. 

Wonder if anyone can help... or direct me to a site I can investigate. I have 2 coverlet archie and would like to find out what issues they are. 

1st story in one is " room and bored" and second book 1st story is "watch the birdie" the second book is a giant size if that helps..cheers

I liked it better than cage but not as good as Jessica jones and daredevil.  the thing that drove us nuts was every time he goes to fight the hand, Rosario dawson says  well I have a friend blah blah but never hey , i'll call my blind super hero friend who fights  the hand to.

I ont know who picks the music on this show but its amazing. last nights episode had a band playing killing joke and an older season had a band playing the damned, lovin it.

my brother in law found one for me and got it modded too so I think it has 700 games or soo...good times

spideyclone  was so bad I stopped reading comics for probably 5 yrs lol. 

its weird that animal deaths hit so much harder than people in comics for me, pride of Baghdad and WE3 hit me big time. another lesser known is a back up story in an early marvel fanfare with daredevil and a young blind kid and his dog. I cried like a baby.

I'm surprised how good it was. I was expecting a normal CW teen show but got a weird form of twin peaks.

Jeremy bastion, dave sim, bruce timm, darwyn cooke, some modern guys I never hear people say they don't like

then secondly I got a great conan lot from senormac. ive been thing of putting a run together as ive never read conan so its a great start. plus the art on the envelope was amazing

picking so low I got two prizes which is sweet!

1st from vic (vsndesigns) I got I Christmas card, a tick sig series book and a tourist tick figure, spoon indeed.......spoon.

Another vote for Dave Stevens here.

 

Although I love Stevens' work, the probably with calling him the "king" is that his work wasn't very prolific, even in the 80's. The other guys you mention at least did over 100 covers each, if not a lot more. Stevens did maybe 30-50?

very valid argument but to me he is the modern equivalent of frazetta, not alot of work compared to others, but the work he did set him apart.

Nice score - the one in the middle is a low print run issue and sells for $50 and up. They are also all really nice comics.

i wish i could find that book for 50 dollars. never see it under 200 usually

i cant remember why but my wife and I just drifted away from it half way through season 1. in the past week we binged and finished1 and are half way through 2 (ok, not great bindge) and I forgot how great it is. I'm surprised how dark and violent it is for a network show.

I'm lovin JJ with only a couple left to watch. I didn't even realise simpson was nuke till he started poppin the pills. really hope that means daredevil season three is born again

Booster Gold #1 is a very good seller; raw HG seems to fetch $40+. (I sold one on Tuesday for $46)

with some of the terrible selections made for omnibus editions, its surprising this hasent been put out as one yet

good call, bollands work on Camelot is amazing

I'm only 2 in as well and I'm liking it. has a slight twin peaks feel with obvious xfiles thrown in. being the age of those kid saround that time, they totally nailed the whole feel of the 80's

these were the books I looked forward too the most each month. the 2 issue arc with the avengers with colossus and vision on one of the covers were great. like I said,top of the pile for sure...until secret wars came out..

for some reason I'm cringing and thinking nic cage will be apart of it..
