I snagged 3 copies of #1 1st today, and 1 #2, all in 9.4 or better. Seems that the 2nd print of #1 is much scarcer and selling well. I don' think I've seen one in person, then again I'm not in the shops like I used to be.

Smallville original series seems to have garnered more attention since the last season of the TV show proper. Also, the Season 11 series is selling consistently on the Bay, albeit to not very significant profits as of yet. I believe these are both going to heat up more soon.

Aquaman is just a good book anyhow, I can see why this variant would be popular as well the variant cover. Alas, I never really buy variants soooo.

I live in a very heavily gay area myself, and maybe that is why the big LCS in my area had a hundred or so on the shelf. I had said it in an earlier post that I could go back and pick up 20 copies if I wanted to but I could be wrong about that if the non-collectors start bum rushing in to buy it. They probably have another hundred in the back room if I know this shop at all.

Is #1 a first print though? Apparently there is maybe a third printing of this book with no way to tell by the cover or indicia. The 2nd print of #1 had a red cover if I'm not mistaken.

As far as the Earth 2 #2 goes, I can go to one of my LCS's tomorrow and buy 50 copies if I wanted to. Just sayin.

I love the old REH Conan shorts and, also have been reading the Dark Horse comics since their inception about 5 years ago. I don't know why no one likes Conan. They must have never read the OG shorts by Howard!

One of my LCS's had about 100 of these on the shelf today. I bought 2, and the book does have some flaws. Out of the 100 or so on the shelf, I snagged 2 9.8's, but most of them have a spine ding right at the top of the front cover spine above the logo as well as other issues. Harbinger #1 regular cover had some issues that I could see as well. This book along with x-o #1 is in a hefty supply at this same store (understatement).

In one of my LCS's yesterday at least. I picked up a nice 9.6 copy as they only had two to choose from.

Not sure, but Tick #100 has Invincible on the cover and a story to boot. I know this is for moderns already heating up, but this book could be a sleeper real quickly.

To add to that, X-O Manowar 68 is fetching close to $70 right now.
I just picked up a collection loaded with Valiants. I sold a couple of the X-O Manowar #1s here for what they're going for on eBay, and have a couple of more that I might wait on. I think I will unload the #68s now, since they might have peaked. I definitely picked up this collection at the perfect time. A couple of months ago, it would have been pretty worthless, IMO
Any other decent priced Valiants worth noting? I'm not familiar with what's valuable with Valiant.
Was the $70 a completed auction? Was that graded?
The book was creeping up over the past couple of weeks and this is the last sale.
I think Bloodshot 51 will be the next $30-40 book soon.
An hour after I posted about Bloodshot 51, the copy I had up for just under $30 sold. Looks like that book is indeed heating up.
If had more than one copy of that I'd post one as well. I was trying for years to put together a run of the final issues and rare issues of Valiant books, but kinda just gave up after the struggle.

Couldn't believe when I just saw this in my LCS for cover price. Not a super valuable book, but super cool and uncommon I think nonetheless. Besides a couple minor corner flecks on both spine side TC, the book could easily get the 9.8 treatment with stark white pages to boot. Always wanted to try and put together a nice run of these, but I think it would be daunting in strict NM.

Yep, he sure is. I wanted to pick this up for awhile and passed on it. Fortunately one of my LCS's still had this a couple of weeks ago when I went in. I didn't think they would still have it but I'm glad they did. Got this one and the Silver Surfer: Return of Thanos HC that reprints the Thanos Quest storyline.

This is very speculatory on my part but I think Star Wars Darth Maul: Death Sentence mini could be a sleeper. I know not too many Star Wars comics really pick up much steam, except for maybe recently the Dawn of the Jedi mini. However, if I'm not mistaken, this might be the 1st comic app. of Savage Oppress?
He is on the cover of issue 2 out now. I have the first issue, but have yet to read it so he might have had a cameo in that. Anyone know if he has appeared before this in the regular SW continuity??
