  1. One day I'm sure you will have one. It took forever to get one, but the feeling of owning a first print is amazing. Even in a low grade.
  2. I know they don't, but it's such a shame what they did to the front cover. They should've just put all 4 turtles on the back. I feel like this is a crime. 😭😀
  3. Took this from a FB group. Allegedly this is a first print TMNT #1 that belongs to Torpedo Comics. This hurts my heart that they would massacre a first print like this, especially on a high grade book.
  4. Like what? Obviously we're on a Turtles related thread so we're biased towards the turtles books, but what would you buy? I wouldn't sell my TMNT books for anything, especially my #1.
  5. That is a crazy and impressive collection, but man it must have been exhausting collecting all that. I feel like I have too many books and I got like 4 short boxes. LOL. Like some else said. I hope the guy got a good price for all of it.
  6. Hey guys, I was looking at my copy of #1 and it look like there's the Letters "W" "R" "L" in the blood spatter on the sword in the Turtles logo. In the L and the E of the "Turtles" Am I just seeing things or is this an Easter egg or something I may not know about? 🤔
  7. I think TMNT #1 will be in a category with those books. It's still relatively new, age wise, but give it a couple of more decades it'll be a 60 year old book at that point. I think it'll be a million dollar book easily. The 1st print is easily my holy grail of comics, so I may be a bit biased here. LOL.
  8. That is pretty crazy they turned down $220k. But with the how many TMNT fans there are and how relatively few first prints there are, I see #1 being a million dollar book in a few decades. Maybe sooner.
  9. I bought a personal grail (TMNT #1) from Jerry and it couldn't have gone better. Great seller and went above and beyond to accommodate me in getting the book. A pleasure to deal with and will purchase more for sure in the future. 😎🙌
  10. Awesome book! Would love to buy one some day.
  11. Congrats man! Those are beatiful books. 🙌😎
  12. Do you have a link to the Ebay listing? I can't find it, and I filtered to sold listing and it doesn't show anything either. Thanks. 😀
  13. There's 2 total. I know 1 is @Icculus308win and the other is another member here and fellow Canadian. 🇨🇦😎🙌 I'm just putting out positive vibes to hopefully get 1 if someone gets it graded in the future. 😃🙏
  14. Thanks! I'm really proud of my books, but there's a few people here in this thread that put me to shame. But I'm happy with what I have and have a few of them to thank for helping me with my collection so far. 😎❤🐢
  15. Great books! I'm looking for #11, #13, #16, #28 and #62 in 9.8. Just putting it out there if you have some or getting in the future. 😎
  16. I just have issues #1 and #15 of Vol. 4 at the moment. I'm trying to finish my Vol. 1 run but it's super hard with the remaining issues I need. I still need #11, #13, #16, #28 and 62. I'm doing it in 9.8 grade so those last 5 issued are very tough to get. Also need a #1 first print. Amy grade at this point. LOL.
  17. Good luck with the sale! Definitely a great wrap. I don't think people realize how few of these are actually centered properly. If you go on Ebay and look at the top 20 or so copies, maybe 2 or 3 have good centering.
  18. I'm surprised they never came up with a character named "Beast Man" as a pun on his name. 🤷‍♂️😀
  19. That price is also in pounds. It says the conversion rate makes it about $5,100 USD. I wouldn't pay that, personally. It is nice to look at them all together though. The "City At War" arc and covers are great. I still need a few issues from vol. 1. I'm now very slowly starting Vol. 4. It never stops... LOL.
  20. I've been looking for X Factor 6 9.8, Captain America 100 9.8, and Turtles vol. 1, issues 11, 13, 16, 28, and 62 in 9.8. But in general I just saw your thread and it had some cool books that you post and was hoping I didn't join in to late. Can't wait to see what comes up next.
