  1. Bulk received Dec 23rd hit Grading recently. Another portion of this sub that had subgrades is still scheduled.
  2. I would not expect too high of grades on these but I would not say they are not worth getting gradded. An economy or standard sub depending on value should not really break the bank but will get you an established grade and help preserve the cards for the future if you do wanna just hold onto them for a bit longer, which I recommend as I dont see these selling and making you rich overnight :P. I love collecting older graded cards even if not worth a lot or high grades.
  3. Personally think things might be speeding up a bit unless my December received submissions were in a downswing of volume for CGC. Sub 1 Economy: Rec 12/11/20, shipped 4/16/21 Sub 2 Economy: Rec 12/11/20, Shipped 4/22/21 Sub 3 Economy Rec 12/15/20, Grading/Quality Control Sub 4/5 Bulk Rec 12/23/20 both hit Scheduled for Grading the past day or two
  4. If it shows as delivered then they have it safe with them in their facility. Hope they get that processed into received status soon.
  5. Just today my 5 card section of my 12 card economy order was shipped, just a few days or so after being put in grading. After the other 7 cards which are still in that stage. Wonder why it was faster, might have been my no sub grades half but I dont remember. I dont want to look though no spoilers haha
  6. Just noticed today the other half of my 12/11 economy is now in grading so it will prob be soon for your bulk, hopefully within a weeks time.
  7. Seems a bit faster than normal right now. 1 of the 2 subs received on the 11th is now grading, and today my economy received the 15th went to scheduled as well!
  8. Non Sub economy 7 card lot received Dec 11th is now scheduled for grading. I do have another received same day with subs still on received.
  9. I do not see why not in the future but if you have no need for pokemon or mtg grading services then yeah might have been a mistake. They might be able to get you a refund if you contact them although I do not know if they offer any or what that policy may be.
  10. Pretty sure I saw Paul say that the current economy and bulk being worked through was received early December. Id contact your middleman.
  11. One thing I have noticed over time is I seem to get the most stability from CGC slabs but it is not at all uncommon for the cards to move around. It is pretty common actually no matter the grading service used. Edit: not at all uncommon for the cards to "be able to" move around. Just dont be shaking your slabs and it will be all good
  12. This is hilarious. OP posts to person_without_enough_empathy, fine who cares, but then tells other people that talk mess to him person_without_enough_empathying that they "dOnt kNOw tHe wHoLE stORy." Why post lmao "Paul handled the situation great. I should just contact him directly next time." sounds like a plan champ.
  13. I think they may consider this 6 business days. So even then it is not uncommon for them to not be scheduled yet. Even with possible turn around time changes. The cards move much faster in the process once they get scheduled for grading.
  14. People have a hard time understanding this: Turnaround times are approximate and not guaranteed.
  15. Yeah this is very important to note. While I may never have a card in my possession of that value having that option in a company I do currently trust is great. $75 is on par with other companies. The only reason I have ever even used walk though is for higher valued cards but also to get them back ASAP. This might very slightly bump up the value mark of what I determine worth it at that price to send but not by much.
  16. Glad this happened, sadly not soon enough all my submissions through December still in received and have already been charged
  17. Doubt it on that last bit. Seems they have been handling the end of November received for about 2-3 weeks now. But they may be finishing up and moving on to December. Hope so all my bigger submissions were received then haha
  18. I wanted to ask if there was any recent change in holder thickness? My calipers died on me so cannot check but my most recent shipment I got back seem to be noticeably thicker than others I have even from just last month. They do not fit in some stands I have for the cards. Is this a change that can be confirmed?
  19. You should 100% contact CGC. They do not take long at all to receive after delivery. By chance did you use Fedex Smartpost? I'm not super sure but I believe that is the only possible way to have the package delivered from Fedex to a PO Box since it uses the USPS in the final leg.
  20. I actually also just noticed, that after taking a few pictures and replacing the teambag it was in that the card is very loose and is noticeable rattling now that I have taken it out of storage. So regardless of my original question I think I will get it reholdered anyways.
