  1. Me too! The X-Men label goes well with it too. I have a different copy of the book I use as a reader to look at the Hilebrandt inserted posters and the letter from Stan Lee.
  2. I remember finding that thread awhile back. I have searched for years to research the books value but it's not in ANY guide. Not just because I own a copy but based on the very real rarity of any information anywhere outside of a few articles I believe there are not very many copies left. I could of course be wrong but when even the Overstreet Price Guide is completely silent on it. I think the value on this book is underrated. Except for the one copy in the above article selling for $40 the other two sold for 350 and 425 in grades. There are two copies on the bay right now and honestly...the graded copy on there I believe is priced about right. Maybe someday someone will buy it maybe not but unless many other copies surface I wouldn't sell it short in rarity regardless of the book's "stated" number on the cover. At the time it came out I remember thinking "A children's kiddie book" and decided I would leave it alone. Either Batman the animated series cartoon had just came out or the book predated it (I can't remember) but we know how popular the series became. Anyway I decided to do the X-men and Captain Universe send away and there is alot of information and copies of this book in the wild so I'm guessing others concentrated on this book too. Pure speculation on my part but either way the Batman and Me book is rare enough I wouldn't part with it cheaply. I did end up with both the personalized comic versions and overall the DC version is superior. I was surprised actually. The lettering, writing, and artwork (excluding the awesome painted cover and posters from the x-men book and the novelty of the trading card) was much better in the Batman book in my opinion. Thanks for the congratulations! I do feel lucky to have a copy. Here is a picture of the X-men one...it was cool being Captain Universe too
  3. Extremely rare find "Batman and Me" #1 from 1994. It was a send away personalized comic where you and Batman fight Catwoman, Joker, and the Riddler. I have seen six copies since it came out. It is actually a Good read and written by Mark Waid. Batman the animated series at it's finest.
  4. One of the first comics I ever read and it had a story with Mr. Mind in it
  5. Hi, All three of my submissions have been marked delivered so I have started the count down when the books should be close to done. Now today all tiers have substantial more wait times....so since my books were already delivered do I stick with the count I was under before the big jump in wait times or do I need to add a whole lot more days to bring it online with the current wait times? Can you please clear this up for me? Thank you. I love your service and just want to have a clear understanding on wait times.
  6. Under the old submission policy when the books read "received" then we began to count down to the tentative day the books would be graded. Has this change now or is it the same. I thought I read once the new count down day now begins when they show as being "delievered" to the vault. Can you please verify?
  7. I am having a similar problem. Can you please confirm that 9507812336221096457727 is delivered and in your safe. I am concerned. USPS says it was signed for
  8. Hi, I just wanted to share this comic book in case anyone wanted to see what one looks like. This is a very rare comic from 1994. In fact since 1994 I have seen exactly 5 copies. Much like "X-Men and Captain Universe: Slepping Giants" it was a personalized comic that came out about the same time as the Batman animated series. I think people thought it was a kiddie comic book and because of that fact they left it alone. It is however vastly superior in quality than the X-Men personalized comic and you get to team up with Batman. Fun story with three villians (Catwoman, Joker, and the riddler). To date I haven't been able to find much information about this comic and apparently it is quite a rare find. Personally, I would like to know how many copies still exist.
