Private collector. Look for a Marvel Twice-up Kirby Splash (no Hulk, no 'layouts by'). Very open. For the 'Right' piece I have a huge, beautiful painted, and published movie-star cover along with some supporting material that is pretty stunning, including a copy of the printed magazine. PRIME ZM era work (pre 1940). Also have an Alberto Vargas Prelim that is incredible (and huge) as well. This one was printed on its own page in the Max Vargas Collection book (Reid Austin). Both pieces have full provenance Of course I've also got some $$$ as well Please reach out via PM and we can take the discussion offline. Pencils by Will Meugniot with Al Gordon Inks. The Bronze Age was ending (or over) and a new breed of publishers like Eclipse and Pacific and AV were pumping out material for a new breed of retailers -- it was an exciting time as things were tried. If they worked, great, if not they were discarded for the next idea. This was one of the BEST new titles and this was one of the best stand alone issues. This page, it could be argued, is the best in the issue. Mark Evanier was was really pushing the boundaries at Eclipse in October of 1983 when this story was done. Not a lot of censorship any longer other than self censorship. Also not a lot of 'almost' nude teenage Super Heroes popped up in comics then, even though I'd imagine that would've pleased the target market. Well here we have Rainbow literally soaping herself up in the shower after a tough workout.

Thanks for the kind words BuraddoRun. The search for additional pages has run dry for me at this point. I've spoken with Alan Kupperberg (before his passing, RIP) and Al Gordon, and beaten down every door I can think of over the decades. I've ended up with 15 of the 18 panel pages, and am also missing the splash. To answer your question directly, for some reason, Iron Man's sad soliloquy on the final page really resonated with my younger mind. The drama to me was intense. Later in life when I stumbled upon 'comic art' I somehow ended up with that very page right away, and the hunt was on! Simply could not believe it. Somewhere in the very early 2000's I wrote a nice (my opinion ) article on this passion of mine in the CFA-APA. Regardless - I'll keep my eyes peeled for you on any of those pages that you are looking for as I keep ringing the bell once a year.
