  1. It isn't Rush hour nor would I go to Mcdonalds during Rush Hour. I would find another store :P
  2. Or maybe they grade for their own personal collection and aren't a greedy scalper/flipper and the more it costs them the grade the less they want to grade. I've been collecting since 1999. I have a collection of about 100,000 USD. I like receiving my cards back in a timely manner. Meaning if I pay for a estimation of 30 days I expect it to be around that. But maybe I am looney lol!
  3. I'd rather not there's enough graders in the market plus as much as I dislike the higher prices and longer wait times I am still rooting for this company...
  4. But that is what I am trying to say, as of right now I am starting to see the slope they have gone down which is the whole reason I turned away from Beckett and PSA. Hoping they don't turn into them with the high prices and long wait times
  5. Na, I just know that the company works for us. Not the other way around. We are the ones spending the money. I am not living in a fantasy Universe. You can only use the Pandemic card for so long. Many businesses including the Card Grading Industry is back at 100%. There is no excuses anymore. Many businesses not saying CGC is trying to cut corners (operate with as least employees as possible to save a buck) it really shows in the production loss. I don't know how you expect people to pay (MORE) for a CGC card when BGS/PSA have been in the Market for Pokemon for ages. I understand (Slowly Progressing up to their prices) But not being more expensive. If you added some sort of special labels maybe I could see that but until then I can't!
  6. Thank you Paul, Just worries me when I see a 30 day estimation and it goes to a 60-65 day. I was told I would see movement like 2 weeks ago. I hope you can understand. I plan on sending my PSA Hidden Fates Charizard to Cross Grade sometime soon because I hate PSA... They damaged my cards. That is one major reason I went with you guys.
  7. That is why many people use them. They want better service and price than the competition... That is why people used PSA over Beckett.. Better prices and Grades so much so that Beckett lowered prices at many points. Now CGC is raising them over Beckett. I mean time will show just my prediction that it is going to hurt more than help.
  8. I don't mind them increasing revenue. I mind when they charge more than their competition. They do not need to increase it that much. They can beat out their competitions prices to keep their revenue high... Many people come to use this company because of the cheaper rates. Why would people of switched if the prices are higher than the competition? It is like a slap in the face.
  9. That is clearly what I am saying that increasing workers to grade would increase profits overall production. Speed should be a number 1 priority to increase overall profits.
  10. If you are making more money you can add supply and resources aka more employees if you are willing to pay to make more $$$$$ Business 101. The more employees you hire / more people are working the more money you will make. The Failed logic from many companies is that less employees = more money. When the truth of the matter is the faster you get the production moving the more money you can make. Even if you must pay a little more the faster you get it done the more you can bring in (Advertise) Drive Sales to get that back plus tons more. Ever hear the term the (Rich get Richer) The more you invest the more money is to be made.
  11. Time will tell if those feelings are factual :P (I mean it's lost PSA and Beckett a lot of potential profit) The less cards graded the less profit over time. I am fine with the prices and times. I just am worried that what they are doing is going to scare off many people. Prices going up and Times that is a big deal for many new submitters. Idk, I just feel like many grading companies are trying to use the Pandemic as a scapegoat lately truthfully. (Example I had two cards at Beckett that were estimated at 20 days and it took 6 months) That should be illegal.
  12. They can cash in on it just as much doing 7-8 dollars for bulk and keeping the prices for subs under Becketts prices. But if raising prices to reduce demand is what they need to do so be it. I just feel like that will give them less profit because people are going to start submitting cards only worth high amounts. Just my thoughts. Many people use CGC for (Speed, Service and Prices) if you reduce speed and prices (I can say service still will stand but if others have better speed and prices what is really the grab) I personally like the cases only reason I will stay... I mean I moved from PSA and Beckett because of these types of things. I have over 100k worth of cards just saying.
  13. I thought it went from 7 to 8 to 9 now. But maybe it just went from 8 to 9. Idk, but it is just odd that it cost more than Beckett for sub grades. (Times went from 30 to 60 to 65 for bulk) Guess I am horrible for seeing the bulk submissions be graded for months under 30 days. Than submitting and magically the time goes super slow. Guess I am a horrible person for expecting what I pay for.
  14. I won't stop using them but I can see many people stopping and moving elsewhere. A pretty new company shouldn't be more than established companies for years.... But I mean that's my opinion we will see their profits in the coming months. Just because someone sold a card valued at 360k doesn't mean they deserve 360k for grading that card. It's a grading company they don't own your cards. First impressions are major in a New company for Pokemon submitting. So far my first impression has seen delayed dates from 30-65 days+ and two price increases. So that kind of scares me. I wanted to grade tons with them.
  15. Prices above Beckett isn't being transparent. They are new to the game. If they want these kind of prices they should wait a few years. This is really going to stop many people from submitting. I like them but two price increases in a year is nuts.
  16. Are my cards ever going to have movement? When I originally submitted it said estimated 30 day. I submitted on 12/11. It has now been almost two months and hasn't even moved from received. I am truly starting to get worried 😕
  17. It's so annoying how long it is taking and the price increases. I doubt people are going to spend that extra amount ... especially when the wait times are taking so long. I am wondering if I am ever going to get my cards (Still Received 12/11) I mean 2 months without my cards almost that was suppose to be a 30 day.
  18. 12/11 Received 2/3 (Still on Received for bulk) It was a 30 day turnaround when I sent it in bumped up to a 60 day. I am starting to feel like it was bait (they grade cards super fast/cheap then jack up times / prices
  19. I think the price increases and wait times are rather sad. I understand they are getting busy nowadays but increasing the prices will push many people away. This was the one company we were hoping not to see that from. Two price increases within 8 months. (What is the point in using the newer company now?) You are charging more than BGS for sub grades in bulk (9 + 7 = 16) that is absolutely bonkers. Some people also like getting charged instant so they don't have to magically hope theirs money still in their account.
  20. I hope the speed picks back up. I really do love this company. I haven't gotten cards graded by you but I have bought cards already graded by CGC. I love the cases a lot. My daughter's initials are CGC also which makes it even more of a plus. I have graded with PSA and Beckett and switched to you guys because you have much better service with customers from my phone experience, the cases are cleaner, and the turnarounds were way faster. @PaulS.
  21. It is very disappointing hearing for months how amazing CGC is and telling my friends to use you because your super fast. While your service levels turnaround keeps going up. I just hope things change soon. I have wrote two posts and neither got answered. ☹️ I am planning on sending tons in over time.
  22. When I submitted the turnaround times said 30 days. My birthday is on 1/30 so I was hoping to get them by then. You received them on the 12/11 but I noticed they haven't even moved from the (received). This is my first time using CGC. I was just wondering if it normally updates progress or if it could be in grading but didn't update. Sorry, if I come off as impatient, I am just very excited because I love your cases/customer representatives are super nice! I am trying to get many of my friends to use CGC also.
  23. I was hoping that you would come out with custom labels that have the trainers of Pokemon. (Ash, Gary, Brock, Misty, Prof. Oak, and Many others) These labels all could be printed on the label in small print or even (Gym Badges) as a premium. They would make your special cards stand out and bring major nostalgia! I would pay a premium for these type of logos on the labels and I believe many others would also. I hope you guys have something like this coming soon, since you have Comic Book Custom Labels.
