OK, i am a newbie and need to know what I am getting into. I am ready to submit my first set of books to CGC. I have 25 books, examples like SW 8, AMS 252, GI Joe 1, Punisher LTD 1, Thor 337 and other similar books. Shipping to, CNP, Grading, shipping back (no pre-screening). what am I looking for cost wise. Say Middle US if that matters. Just looking for an estimate, not an IT WILL COST YOU value. If I could get you an "it would cost around $xxx based on your books" I would be overjoyed!!!! Just so I can estimate and decide if its worth it to grade. Thanks to all you Ladies and gents !SellinMyCollection

Yep, as I suspected. The crease on the front is bad enough but that back cover is just horrid. Poor first impression that’s hard to overcome. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks all. Have an opportunity on some books that would grade 5-8.5 and had value but some have water stains. Some less than the example but still visible and some worse (hard curvy pages.....uh no). After the feedback, which is what I expected, moving on....

I have a real noob question.. How does minor water damage on inside and back cover lower the grade and better yet can it be CNP out. Below is an example. If the book without this issue was 8.0, how much would this drop it? Full Grade? More? I am still learning this after a 30 year return. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback All. I had it right at 2.5. Price is currently above 2.5 go-collect price. Contemplating heavily, but not sure. Thinking 3 may be a stretch. Chewing on top of back bothers me.
