why would anyone buy from a stock pic with no grades?

no way to tell without taking it out of the slab and looking through the whole book. who knows what the inside looks like. and to the OP this board frowns upon posting slabs from other companies. Just saying.

page counting is a real challenge. LOL. the only thing PGX has mastered is being involved in all kinds on scandal.

PGX has a reputation of nothing but trouble and deceptive garbage. Don't buy anything from them and save yourself some misery.

5.5 the small stains on the back and what appears to be water damage along the spine by the top staple hold this on back at least a grade.

This book just looks a bit too good for a 4.5 as there are really no long creases diagonal or otherwise that I can see. Book has real nice color, and could use come cleaning on the back. Those look like cutter tears on the right which would be more production related. Sometimes I grade these more as to what is not there. 5.0

4.0 on this one for me but 4.5 not out of the question. Just a bit to much wear and tear on the edges front and back. Book has good color and presents nice. Put it in a mylite 2 and enjoy it.

2.5 tops for me, and only because there are no large pieces missing. My advice is do not press that book. There is no reason to. Way too many color breaking creases and paper fracturing and crinkles on the F.C. Even if you press it so what, the creases are still going to be there just a bit less visible. Besides that book is well read and worn, heat is not going to do that paper any good at this point. And like a previous poster said those staples look to good for a book that age. Put it in a mylite 2 and enjoy it.

Just talked to her a bit ago, and she said she really appreciates the encouraging words from the boards and of course "mine" She says she is hanging tough and making progress. What a super nice and super tough cookie she is.
