I have this one Florida bound right now along with several others. It's a pre-hero addiction, and I can't stop. Purchased at the Chicago Comic Con back in 87 for $25.00.

One of my favorite covers of the early issues. Great looking copy. However, one thing has always puzzled me about this issue in particular. The monster on the cover bears no resemblance to the one in the story. Could there have been a few different ideas they were running through for this cover and somehow put the wrong one on the book. I'm confused. Someone set me straight.

Really sad how long this list keeps getting.

I just picked one up today. We needed to update our copier and fax machine and this was a good deal brand new from Office Max for $199.00. It does hold a full slab too. Looks o.k. but the color seems a bit faded. I'll mess with it when I have some time and see if I can tweek it. Here's my first try at it.

Weird Tales of the Future #2 Holy Krap what a beautiful book. I need to get a drool cup. sartre, this is one of the nicest books I have ever seen on the boards. Uber congrats. There's so much action on that cover. Monsters, buildings collapsing, bombs exploding, people falling off of buildings. It's bedlam I tell you.

And not in a decent grade either. Just upgrading my undercopy.

Mrs. X picked these up at an Estate Sale. They appear to be ink sketches of Castles with the descriptions in Kings English. One of them is dated 1776. They appear to be original and I should probably get them cleaned up and put them in a nice Mylar top loader. They look pretty cool.

Well, this is actually the first time those babies have seen daylight. Had them in storage for many years accumulating dust on the boxes.
