I can ship up to 8+ raw books secure boxed media for about $5.95. continental U.S.A. I had to increase postage a bit as box prices went up. No Paypal. I take checks, money orders, or swamp gas. Checks will be held till they clear before books go out, unless I know you're not a stinker. Payment due in 7 days. Please respond to invoices, I don't like chasing people. You guys know the deal if you bought from me before. And please respond to messages in a timely manner, not 5 days later, and I have to keep reminding you of you're purchase.
  3. Tentatively going to try and start up a thread tonight around 6:30 Central over in mixed. Trying to clean out some boxes of X Men's that will be grouped in lots of 10/12 issues starting with #174. Most all are 9.0 and up. Tossing in some other odds and ends also before the year closes out.
  4. Now that is how you break up with someone. Or break someone's head on the pavement.
  5. I'm going to assume you live in the Chicago area then. His website shows his address. Tell him you want you're books back, even if you have to go there and pick them up. I have no problem meeting up with you someplace and taking a ride over there.
  6. Never heard of this guy. Do they have a shop or work out of the house? Just looked at the site. They work out of a house off of Lagrange Road. Close to a patch guy I use.
  7. Good question. Just pulled this image off of slabbed 7.0 off e bay.
  8. Every book has a value to the customer no matter what the price, but I was thinking this myself. What if this was someone's key issue, and they destroyed it like this?
  9. I'm wondering is this is paper lifted off the cover of the book, or something else was layed on top of it. and its something else that transferred onto the book in question? We need some answers here.
  10. Is it me, or does that corner look smashed and fanned out after it was slabbed?
  11. QC Manager taking action on the ME pile, does the Joker slide
  12. So some ding bat damages this man's book ( looks like tape pulls ), knows WTF they did, and encapulates it anyway, and out the door. Maybe the owner won't notice?
  13. They need to start tracking down who does what, and toss them out the door. How in the heck does this type of krap happen?
  14. and some inside info is helpful. centerfold attached. rust at staples if present. any marks or writing if present. inside cover edges tanning if present.
  15. No one should be allowed to smoke anywhere in that building, especially near these books. That sure looks like a burn to me of some sort, as if someone could have had the cover open looking at the interior and something dropped on it. If not a burn, something sure ate a hole through it. Heads need to roll somewhere. This is turning into a joke, and nothing seems to be getting solved in QC. Really sad this is happening over and over, and the list of issues keeps getting deeper.
  16. Starts at 57:00 I tried to watch this at 57:00 and lasted about 5 minutes. What a crock of krapola. LOL.
  17. 3.5/4.0 I am changing my grade on this to 3.0 tops after looking over that B.C. again, and assuming that cover and C.F. are attached.
  18. Corner damage on front and back. I'd have trouble with a 7.5 on it.
  19. Looks like he's been hitting the gym with those #2 pencil arms.
  20. Always take the book out of the plastic, and have a photo or scan of the back cover. Can't give an accurate grade on half the book. Next, give more detail on the inside. Center fold well attached. Any markings or coupons cut out. Tears, writing, browning on the inside cover edges, etc.
