There's no glitch. Scheduled for grading is the new received, so there was some confusion on the boards. If you're in grading/encapsulation/imaging, then they are actually grading your cards. Mine have also been in that stage about a month (2/12 received). They'll hit grading/quality control one day, and about a week after that you should have them back.

Seems 2/10, 2/11, 2/12 were an outsized proportion of submissions, but those are the ones that are being returned around now. I can't tell you how long this will take, but I've seen a lot of posts from people with those three dates that have either just gotten their cards back, or just gone into grading.

Same here, I am aware of the glitch but my 2/16 economy submission is going insanely slower than a previous 55 card Bulk submission. I called and they said "yes its still in the grading room". must be a big room lol

Here are a few of the photos I took btw. My guess is they are better than whatever CGC does but they take a lot of time to make. Why better? I have a pro-level photo studio. To take these, I had two color-accurate lights with softboxes on either side of the card and a 100MP medium format camera with the best macro lens in the world. I shot on a sheet of white foam core board, then color-corrected the images so that the BG was white.

CGC will give a card the following:

    4 10 subgrades = Perfect 10

    3 10 subgrades, 1 9.5 = Pristine 10

    3 10 subgrades, 1 9.0 or below = 9.5 or below

    2 10 sub-grades, 2 9.5 or below = 9.5 or below

Perfect 10 is not allowed unless you pay for sub-grades; CGC will not allow it

Pristine and perfect 10 is not generally seen if you submitted at Bulk level

What do you mean generally not at bulk level?

I submitted tons of cards at bulk so I can save enough money to add subgrades to each lol. Kinda messed up they wouldnt give you a 10 just bc you paid for a lower tier service..

Man Im received 2/8 and still haven't gotten movement. Glad to see its close though...

I have a 2/16 received submission patiently waiting as well! Sucks to hear all these standard and economy boxes received after are being opened...

We're all in the same boat! Just make sure to stay on top of it once its in grading/quality control

  6. Hate to say it but unless you have 1,000+ cards then cards should not be in the grading/quality control stage for more than a couple days. Would advise all to call and check with accounting that everything is paid for and clear to ship. Mine was on Grading/QC for a couple days and it was dragging on so i called and they said its actually been done and in line to be shipped. Today it was shipped

Received: 1/15/21 (TAT when received was 30/45 days.)
    55 cards
    TCG - BULK
    Finalized and Shipped:  6/9/21

    ACTUAL TURNAROUND TIMES:

    146 CALENDAR DAYS

100 BUSINESS DAYS (was quoted 30 or 45 at the time of receival!!)

    Good luck everyone!! LOL

scammer get scammed got my cards graded for $8 bucks lol

The 399 card and 192 card bulk subs were both in "Scheduled for Grading" just yesterday, I check today and one is already Finalized/Imaged/Shipped :) The smaller one is in Grading/QC, what a lovely surprise!

How are you not tempted to click the link and look at the grading results? I love the surprise of opening the box but just noticed that you can click the link and it will show you. Kind of a bummer!

  8. @PaulS. Following up on my message above.

    1. In my submission I submit the above pictured card (1st pic) with a very clear holo bleed/ink error/stamp error and I paid extra to have it graded and recognized as an error and even submitted a regular non-error version to be graded as well that you guys can use as a comparison.

    - Given this is a very clear error will this be accepted as an error and graded as such?

If not, will I be contacted to have this graded normally or will you guys simply send it back? I want to make sure it gets graded no matter what especially after it will be there for a year+

    Hello,

We do recognize no texture errors. We do not recognize holo bleed, however.

    Thank you,

    Paul

Thanks Paul! Killed it with the quick response.

Attached are pictures of what I sent in for the holo bleed,

This is clear as day some sort of holo bleed printing error it's a pack fresh card that I actually have a recording of myself opening brand new. Surely something this notice-able and prominent will be recognized as an error and graded?

If it cannot be recognized as an error will I be contacted with an option to still get it graded anyways? Would hate to have it sit there all this time just for it to be sent back not in a slab regardless

  10. I recently submitted an order with several types of card errors and after reading your responses to different posts I'm a little concerned that it won't qualify as an error despite them being legitimate known errors. I am now worried that I won't see these cards for a year+ and will just get them sent back after all that time. I left a very specific note on the packing slip and even included non-error versions of the cards to be graded that you guys can literally do a side by side comparison of. They are all pack fresh never played in penny sleeves in card savers.

    1. The first is No Texture error - this happens to full art cards that are supposed to be printed on a textured card with ridges but they accidentally get printed on a regular flat card. This is very well documented and well known error that is extremely rare. Here is some evidence of it:

    2. The second is Holo Bleed errors. These are also extremely well known and documented and verified. The holo portion of the card is showing up where it's not supposed to be (for example, edges, description, etc.) In this case I also provided a copy of the card that has no error for reference. It is a very clear error, one card has a huge holo "stamp" on the left side of the card and the other has a completely normal section.

Would there be any reason these would not be accepted? And will I know before I got invoiced if they will be able to be graded?
