KUDOS to divad for the Fritzi Ritz
KUDOS to Neurosis for the tasty Wonder Womans
And finally I opened the big box with padded foams etc to reveal my Red Sonja I am more then shocked at how beautiful it is in person. It's also bigger then I imagined it would be I spent about 30 minutes looking through it and man I'm floored. I want to thank DeeDee for this beautiful piece of art and for doing the scenic background, I know you were contending wether to try it or not and it's gorgeous. I am scared to take it to Kinkos to get scanned but I will do it sometime soon.

You think it's better or worse than 3.5?Very happy right now, although I disagree with the grade. I've been wondering if I should crack the slab on this, just to save the gradeI think it should be higher I can certainly understand why it could've been what it is or perhaps even lower.

After picking up the 7 and 10 from Weird Paper's newly found collection, I had to go back and reunite this one with it's brothers!
That is one freaky cover though.

great range of ages....I have been 27 for 12 years now....technically I am 39, but I'll be darned if I am moving from 27!
rick
I was gonna say if you have all those things accomplished in the hobby by 27 then I'm jealous but at 39.... No I'm still jealous because by the time I'm 39 I'm guessing the books will have grown exponentially.

TakinShotsToQuit for the bargain buys and that packaging job was insane.
DeeDee for the sketches and super fast shipping!
Wrightson Fan for the great set of books. I don't know wether to take the book out of shrink wrap or not.

I don't think a man should be allowed to keep all that goodness to himself. I am in line waiting for my share.

It matters to some people, and I don't begrudge them that, but it's not mattered to me. I've passed the 1,000 milestones a few times and it never occurred to me to start a post celebrating my post count or calling attention to it. Usually what happens is I'll go to read something and notice that I just passed a 1,000 anniversary. Oh well. I'd rather be engaged in posts or conversations rather than monitor how many posts I've made or are going to make.
I think early on it was en vogue for people to start a thread for a major milestone number of posts and use it say something profound about the boards, what the community has meant to them, and what they've learned from their participation here. At some point it seemed to devolve into a contest to see who could have the biggest post count and now you see people patting themselves on the back for posting 1,000 times. Oh, Hooray .
Unfortunately, quantity too many times has taken precedence over quality. I'd rather have people post less and say something meaningful rather than post constantly while saying or contributing nothing.

I think you'd get a good response, if not some OOHs and AAhs which will make it worth it? Plus ciorac has had some luck in selling.
