  1. Here's a #12 that came out of a recent original owner estate find. There was also a coverless World's Finest #6 in the lot amongst other books... I'm now looking for that cover because the servicemen on that cover appear to be the same as the ones on this. Neat.
  2. Was anybody here going after this lot recently? Unfortunately the back cover for the GM 6 is gone but still happy.
  3. Thank you both for the reply I do appreciate the responses from folks much more knowledgeable than myself. I will likely keep the book as is and not try to do any resto removal. Thanks again, Kyle
  4. Hi, I am new to the boards, this topic is in search some advice. The Champion Comics #3 below has a good bit of tape on it. I get the spine because it is completely detached... I'm scratching my head about the other three pieces in the bottom right corner area. The largest of those three pieces (approx. 3" long) is covering two small - less than 1/4" tears. The diagonal piece is over a bend that isn't ripped, and the third around his shoulder just appears to have been put on there for the sake of putting it on. I think all three on the bottom corner were preventative measures perhaps. My question is, in your opinion, would a professional tape removal in these three areas help the grade of the book? Do you think it would be worth the price of the service? I don't plan to sell the book any time soon but the tape does frustrate me. Thanks. I appreciate your time.
  5. Also looking for a back cover to Green Mask #6 - Fox Features Syndicate, the full page "Kooba Cola" back. Thanks!
  6. Looking for a cover for World's Finest #6 and a coverless Whiz #45. Thanks
  7. Hi, My first forum post. I was going through a stack of assorted books I recently acquired. Came on a full page ad for a Batman Full Color Projector in a Hot Stuff Sizzlers #28 (March 10, 1967). Does anybody know what's going on with the "Freezeman" reference after Penguin? Did some googling but not much info out there. I know Mr. Freeze's first appearance wasn't until Feb. 1959. Has anyone seen one of these projectors? Maybe it was an early name idea that slipped through the printing cracks? I know he was first called Mr. Zero in the books. Perhaps some obscure villian named "Freezeman" just before the fist app. of Mr. Freeze? Thanks for the help.
