  1. Showcase #27, page 26 by Russ Heath sold on Comiclink for $2,988 on September 7, 2022. Now $6,500 BIN. The reseller is really undervaluing this gem. The page really should be a $65,000 BIN because this is the "birth page" of the Sea Devils and James Gunn (newly appointed co-chair and co-CEO of DC Studios) has said that making a kick-@$$ balls-to-the-wall SEA DEVILS movie is a priority for the studio.

I've noticed the stream of Terry strips and the wide range of prices. is it known where they are coming from, is it the collection of some long time Terry collector being liquidated?

I'm more curious who's bidding on all of them.  :)

But to answer your question, I believe they are coming from the Bobby G. Murphy Collection.

There is nothing to improve. I have no plans to sell, and to my eyes, the piece was a bargain whether the market agrees or not.
When I posted it in April, 2021, it got 8 likes. So, I guess the market is bigger than 4 people for the right Sparling stuff. 🙂

So approximately $87.50 per “like” on CAF. Seems high. Maybe try posting in one of those art groups on The Facebook to bring down your price-per-like ratio. :)

You confused me there for a few minutes. I spent $600 on one of his “Pin-up Pete” bits of cheesecake from the Korean War era, and I would happily do it again (there have been others for sale). But, it wasn’t from ComicLink. So yes, I do own one, but not what I was looking for.

It was probably shill bid too, right? Because like, everything is.

    Sparling-Gate!
