  3. PANEL PAGE ART — UNPARALLELED WORKS OF COMIC ART. WE DO MORE THAN JUST SELL ART. Years ago, Glen Brunswick, owner of PANEL PAGE ART, met a prestigious art dealer that had a Madison Avenue gallery. He asked the dealer how he could tell if a piece of art was good or not. The dealer said he based his opinion on a gut feeling. He had to love the art he represented at least a little bit. It's this philosophy that goes into every piece of art we buy and sell. We consider ourselves curators of comic art collections.

  5. Donnelly hard at work today creating a fake RED SONJA title stat to slap on the piece and sell as an "alternate cover".
  6. Does anyone else throw up in their mouth a little bit when Donnelly claims something during these shows?

  10. There's a separate thread for this called: (attempted) Flip of the Day!
  11. I'm looking forward to the "Shilligan's Island" episode where dealers get their buddies to bid on their own auction house consignments. Heaven forbid a piece of art sells for less than a dealer feels it's worth!
  12. I look forward to the special edition of this show “LOS DUELING HERMANOS” where Steve Donnelly takes on Rich Donnelly as they put up for claim “alternate covers” and art they re-inked themselves (very badly!) in order for a piece to look better and trick unsuspecting collectors into buying. Watch live as each Donnelly brother has to ask his own brother if it’s okay to sell a claimed piece of art!
  13. So says the President of the Sal B Appreciation Society.

  17. A shout-out to this thread by CAF maestro Bill Cox at the 2 hour 23 minute. But the point of this thread is to not call out pieces "flipped" into a public auction with no reserves, where they will land at a final bid price wherever the market takes them...or (sadly) shill bids take them, as we've seen in the past with a known dealer and his consignments at Heritage Auctions. Oh, and if you're annoyed by this thread or dislike it or think there is too much whining here, then stop reading it. But I guess since it's gotten over 123K views at this point, I guess it's not going away anytime soon.
  18. Dino and Jordan are super dudes for doing the show, and Bill Cox is super awesome for producing and organizing the show, but let's get back to the order of business....Al Gofa! $100: https://inkyknuckles.com/al-gofa/dark-angels-of-darkness-page-114 Now $500! https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1717997&GSub=215219

There was some great art being offered, and these were nice pick-ups.
  20. Don't worry, a dealer will fill the gap.
