  1. hmm...I heard rumors of more being released. That's why I didn't jump and buy 10 copies from SDCC...
  2. I saw this book his weekend and it is INSANE!!!! If you ever sell it, please lmk!
  3. Everything was gone within an hour or 2. He only had 13 of the sdcc books. There are 2 versions, red logo and gold logo. He said he only gave out 1 at sdcc due to being too busy, and only a total of 14 were sold to date. He is not sure what will be done with the rest, but will not be doing any more shows this year. So there you have it. Another rare cpg book!
  4. The mystery to the alleged SDCC books has been solved... More to come!
  5. 184/300, Mike. I have not seen or heard anyone claim to have one on any board or site so far, Sanj. Not all 300 copies have survived since 2004.
  6. So still no sign of this supposed SDCC exclusive? No one here got one to show us?
  7. Great...another book I need, Second in line behind Doug!
  8. yeah, I have 3 coming at $25 each. seems to be the price for now...
  9. everyone is re-reading CPG so when they go to the SDCC and see Jeremy they know what they are talking about...
  10. did you really only leave 2 of those unsigned?
  11. I think you guys are making Davidson a much bigger character than Kirkman is going to.
  12. Here is Tom from Olympian's response: "The 1st issue second printing was a very small run of only a few hundred. These all made it out fine. The 2ns issue first printing was a run of over 1000, but I believe that only 3-400 made it out into the world after Diamond got hold of them. Both have quantities of lower than 400, but only one was due to Diamond: Issue #2, first print." So it sounds like they are equally rare, just for different reasons.
  13. Actually, stay tuned for the coolest, rarest CPG book...hmmm...what could it be??!!??
  14. Then the #1 4th print with the silver logo would be the rarest!!
  15. I looked at his email from May. He said it was the second print of #1 that was destroyed by diamond and that no more than a couple hundred exist. His email to me the other night regarding my #2 first print on ebay was this: "A bunch of these got "disappeared" by Diamond, as the mob would say, so this one is the lowest quantity out there of any issue, any printing. Not one Olympian Publishing or Century Guild employee has a copy in their collection. I know people are excited now about issue #1 first prints, but this is the one that when people are trying to complete a set of first prints they will not be able to find. I would guess that only a few hundred made it onto the streets" I'm waiting to hear back from him with clarification, but in both conversations, it was a couple hundred, not 100. we'll see...
  16. Well, what I was referring to was our email conversation from the other night where he emailed me about my #2 first print. He told me that most of the the #2 first print was destroyed, and that no one at Olympian or Century even has a copy. I'll get ahold of him and confirm which ones are the ones destroyed. As far as the error no logos, they are just that, errors, not individual print runs.
  17. Let me qualify that. The rarest Olympian published CPG according to Tom, unless you know better than him.
  18. According to Tom, from Olympian publishing, most of the print run of issue 2 was "destroyed" by Diamond. Tom told me that only a couple hundred books got out, making it the rarest of all first print CPG's
  19. Noooo, I'm quite sure after all this time it is no good, why, did you?
