    I don’t think there were shenanigans. A friend of mine won some of them. He’s an aggressive bidder like me, and simply wanted them. I was talking to him real time during the bidding - of course he was tipsy. I told him to pump the brakes a bit, as I have 9.8 candidates of some of them likely to get graded soon, but he has a stubborn streak.

    For the most part, the prices of the FFs in the Pedigree auction last night were pretty strong. The only notable “ouch” moment I saw, was when the 9.8 136 went for only $300. The very same book sold for $3800 on clink a couple years ago.
