Are prices still climbing or have they eased up a bit???
djpinkpanther67 replied to InfantTerrible's topic in Comics General
I’m not sure how people are coming to these conclusions based on incomplete data. A chart limited to sales of only key books is NOT an accurate representation of the current comic market. Are the majority of comics sold on a daily basis only keys? Absolutely not. -

Hello Brian, Please REMOVE this book from the Thanos Master Set: Silver Surfer: Rebirth of Thanos nn Third Edition/Third Printing (it’s the last entry on the set) REASON: It is a TPB collecting Silver Surfers that are already listed in the set. This set should not include TPBs Thanks Slot removed per request 11/21/22 -

For what it’s worth, I think the comic market is fine. It’s going through a correction right now, but no need to panic. It’s simple supply/demand… Everyone is focused on the keys value dropping. Of COURSE keys are dropping, especially low/mid grade BA/SA, because most people already have them. The higher grades are going to hold, even increase their value for the most part. Copper/Modern keys are dipping, even in HG, because again, people that can afford them already have one. There’s like 5300+ 9.8 graded copies of ASM 361 alone….Ray Charles could see THAT price drop coming… -

Captain Marvel 51 35c Price Variant CGC 9.8w. Single highest graded by a long shot. One of the rarer 35c variants. Only 11 universal copies in the census. Second highest graded is a lone 9.2. Next highest book after that is an 8.5 (two in grade) Price: $8000 shipped worldwide. I have moderate wiggle room…Offers welcome. Thanks for looking!

I looked for years for one. I put a 9.4 and a 9.6 in the census before I found this one. Funny thing is, the only other 9.8 appeared in the census the same week mine did.

I’ve seen THESE at shows. My thoughts: 1) They are nice for the convenience of not having to take the book out of the bag to see the BC. 2) They are fairly strong/rigid, and fit mylite 2s. 3) They are expensive. Thoughts?
