I was just charged for additional shipping, even though they are supposed to use my personal FedEx account. For some reason it wasn’t shipped under my account. I verified with FedEx that it wasn’t charged to me. Still sucks that it happened though...

This post awakened some fond memories of my comic buying as a kid....In the mid to late 70’s I was mowing lawns. I had a 6 block radius of customer base (about 40 houses) that gave me a weekly average of $50. My parents had no idea how much I was raking in... This was before I started helping my Mom put out Avon books and working part time in a comic shop (for store credit) Every week for comics I would hit up the comic shops I could hop on the bus to reach....Armchair, Old Weird Harolds, Serendipity, Apache, Future Dreams, Powell’s Books and would also attend one or two shows a year. During a three year stretch I was able to complete the bulk of my childhood collection. I also liked buying records. I would go nearly every day to Bird’s Records to talk with the owner about music and would usually end up buying an album.

Hey Matt, My friend has been trying to get this book (Captain Marvel (1996) #5 entered in his Thanos Master set for over a couple weeks, with no luck. He is entering it in the correct slot, but it’s not taking...admin queue took care of the couple others that were in the same group of books doing the same thing, but this one hasn’t been addressed
