It’s not CGC but it is a company doing the witnessing stuff. Im spacing on the name now. But comic sketch art I think is the booth name? Which I believe you or someone else mentioned earlier.

My guess is a partner company is saying they are CGC or something along those lines since CGC keeps saying they won’t be there. Find out in less than 24 hours tho

@Jennifer F.thanks for the update. It is strange that they have it in their FAQ and list the booth and Everything.

That’s a bummer. Wonder if it’s suppose to say CBCS or something on their app? That’s a pretty massive screw up on CCLA to have it on their FAQ/App. 

Would also like to know about this. I also see that LACC says that CGC will have booth #1664 but I dont see anything else on this.

I got charged yesterday so hoping that means some movement! 

My books are listed as received on 6/23(delivery was obviously before this as well, I believe I paid for 3 day shipping?  I believe that was early may?) so I should be right around the 100 day mark now. Hoping to hear something this coming week.

Life happens. Covid Happens. Some Artist may have events pop up that they must back out off and all that. They probably do set a date when first negotiating it but dont release the info incase something pops up would be my guess.

It should all be from when it was checked in at CGC. You should be good. However someone else may have a better/more indepth answer?

Oh did he sign over the weekend? I didn’t see anything on his Ig but I had a busy weekend so I probably just never checked his stories.

First time I’ve heard zero buzz about SDCC…. If it wasn’t for this thread I’d have heard nothing about tickets going on sale today :-/ kinda sad but it’s their own fault for doing thanksgiving time frame.

Am I missing a thread or do we not have one for the LA Comic Con in Dec?

I wont be able to make this, and I believe the next showing as well. But its only about 3hours from me so I would love to make the trip at some point. Chico area needs more shows too...

I wont be going. No way I could swing a thanksgiving time frame con. Plus the whole mystery box aspect is a massive turn of for a con haha. Hopefully they release some info soon.

Id mostly go with the writer and artist. But I really agree/like what revat said above. That was well thought out reply.

Do we have a time frame on when SY comes in to sign? I know it has not even been a month since the cut off but it’s my first SS and not sure what the time frame is with these. 

I found all my old pokemon cards. I have not been up on pokemon cards in probably 15 years. What sites would you guys recommended looking at to see what is worth grading overall? I believe I have everything from the first few sets(I dont think I have any actual 1st editions, but the "normal" editions?) Ill edit to add a picture of the first box i opened.

Did you make sure to mark the outside of the box? Ill be sending some off this week and I need to remember to put the SY on the outside, always nervous Im going to forget that step.

Looks solid, with some minor issues with spin/corners but nothing real bad or stand out ish to me. The glare from the flash and stuff on the close ups always throw me off. I dont really see the color rub mentioned above myself. Id say 9.4 from what I see. No matter what its in the 9's, I wouldnt be surprised if it hit 9.6 either without a closer look.

I bought some of these for the upcoming Skottie Young signing. First time doing a signature series event. The idea is cool but I still ended up cutting holes into a backer and placing it over the comic inside the signing bag.

I still think its kinda lame they dont send them back either.. But more money for them. Easy to repackage and resell for sure.

Id skip the bubble wrap typically, dont get me wrong depending on how many and what is in the lot I may still include it. but typically I would just make sure they are all secured with the extra cardboard so they dont shift in the box. I also agree with doing the sandwich the cardboard pieces with one horizontal and other vertical. 

More than likely your books have not been opened yet. Once they are opened and scanned in then it will show them. Currently they are opening boxes from the week of April 26th. If you sent your books in prior to that then Id contact CGC via phone call.
