  1. What's the fun in spoiling it for you... So it is something that is addressed in this episode? Nope did not click on the spoiler tag, just wondered. Click it. Do it.
  2. It followed the story well. I expected more for being a season premiere, but that is because the climax of the episode was already spoiled by fans who read the books. I'm starting not to mind the deviations that were put in. Makes it a little more original. But if you were like me, when they saw the deer, I was waiting for Shane to point his gun at Rick and then Carl stop him. I thought that was why, plot wise, they let Carl go with the two guys. If they follow the plot of the books too closely, the show is going to be really boring to me. If I was Kirkman, I would take the opportunity of the TV show to do some things differently and try some things that may work better for TV as opposed to a comic book. It's sort of a "what-if" kinda take and that makes it more exciting to me to not know how the entire story plays out. +1 If you didn't see the episode yet, skip the spoiler tag.

That makes me even more excited for this season. The previews for the next episode look really cool for just this reason. I kinda know what's coming but not really.

  5. There are 39 members on the probation list currently assuming I counted correctly. It has been 4+ years since the list was started. There have been thousands upon thousands of transactions in that time. There are 10 members on the Hall of Shame List. They were put there for either large transgressions or multiple transgressions. For something that is not monitored by anyone other than the members here, I would say the odds are much higher than Ebay for a successful transaction.
  6. You like RMA? Oh, don't you try it, Mister. You're still on my snit list. I don't remember why anymore.... ...but you ARE, so don't you go cozying up to me. Holding a grudge Just to be sure, it's only dry humor. Yes. I was trying to convey that with this and this Since they don't have a graemlin for "I have nothing to contribute other than with you for giggles because I am bored and should be working right now so don't take me serious", I went with those. I should petition Arch for some more graemlins but he is probably off looking for more prurient postings.

  8. People like train wrecks and this thread has been one since post one. Carry on.
  9. Boot, these are all really cool books. Thanks for posting them. (thumbs u
  10. Is Daniel the bat crazy one? I always thought Alec was the bat crazy one.
  11. Just found this thread. These are unbelievably fantastic. Wow. Great job.
  12. That almost made me cry. Seriously. It was a very nice story.
  13. Yeah but douchenozzles like Harold aren't going to buy a prepaid cell to register here so he can live out his fantasies of actually being a real boy. A douchnozzle like that would probably steal a phone. Douchenozzles usually do but that puts him closer and closer to his future employment as a license plate technician. You dropped an e.

  15. One thing people would potentially expect for their money would be some sort of regulation in the selling area. If that were to happen, I believe you can say bye bye to the selling forum which would be a shame. Yeah, no, charging for membership is a ludicrous idea. It would...rightfully...give people a sense of entitlement and ownership that they absolutely should not have. Charging for strikes, on the other hand.... Enforceable, how? Fining on the honour system? I guess, if you don't pay, you have to create a new identit- heeeyy, wait a minute... The simple "solution" is to require a non-free email address or phone number or real name or something like that, rather than the "it takes a minute to sign up and i probably won't even need a real email address" system the board has now. Remember that the boards are kept as a convenience, and there's exactly zero interest by tPTB in putting any man-hours beyond what it necessary to keep the boards technologically functioinal That too. I hate being such a slow typer/thinker.

It would...rightfully...give people a sense of entitlement and ownership that they absolutely should not have. Charging for strikes, on the other hand.... In theory it could work. Maybe on a smaller scale. $5, $10 and $25 or so. Everything going charity is also a good idea. The issue, to me, is I don't feel this Board is that bad regarding people being civil to each other. I don't participate as much as other members, so that probably helps. Would the issue that Comicdonna has with Harold be a no go with a paid membership? Most likely yes. I think a better way is finding a way to verify people's identity when they sign up. Like the cell phone idea Comicwiz(?) posted earlier.

  18. Have you reported it to the police, Mike? Nope. i think it would be a wise move to do so I expect they will get called when Harold and I meet. Harold needs his azz beaten for sure. Not by you. Let his future "roomates" do it for you and relax knowing you are the better man. Call the Police. Heck, call his work and see what they think about his internet savvy. BTW, do we know for certain this was Harold? Harold has a particular hard-on for Mike - if I'm not mistaken, it's not the first time the little scumbag has sent him unsavory PMs. I don't doubt it at all. Just asking in case Mike wants to contact the Police and his employer. I 100% understand wanting to mash the little weasel (Harold) into a nice stain on the concrete but in this day and age there is no way Mike makes it out of the situation unscathed.
