    The book was officially "received" by CGC on 12/30/21 and I got it back yesterday. Can't recall how long they had it before it got entered into their system. As for the 9.2 tag, I did not pay extra for that though I did pay extra for the label and I think the tag came with it.

    Took forever to get back from CGC but, as promised, here is the graded book. Thanks to everyone here, can't say I was surprised with grade. On to the next one! (On a side note, how do you change topic name to say "Grade Is In"??)

    I submitted my 9.8 DD 181. If it comes back less than 9.8 with yellow label I am going to cry! Not sure if you know the answer, but FedEx delivered the package to CGC on 11/11. That means I should be okay, right, given it had to be received by 11/12?

    Very jealous!! I sent three ASM 361s in not too long ago and they came back 9.6, 9.6, and 9.4. Soooo close!!

    I have same book (minus the signature) that was graded 7.0. Yours does look slightly better than mine, especially the corners, but both books have multiple spine ticks and general wear. My not so educated guess is an 8.0 and maybe an 8.5 depending on how it looks after C&P. Good luck!

    Thanks, Paul. Figured that would be the case but wanted to make sure. Like I said, hasn't been touched since 85 but that will have to change.

    A pretty popular book in this forum. Lost out on a few auctions before I got my hands on this one at a real good price. Looks like a real nice copy with Tattooz intact. Will be sent to be pressed before sending to CGC. Thanks!

    As you can see, this Donruss Don Mattingly rookie card is in a case. The card has been that way since I got it in 1985. So no human hands have touched this card in 36 years. Can I send it like this to be graded or must I remove it from the case first?? Thank you!

    That's a really nice looking copy. Better than most I've seen for sale. Only issue looks to be bottom left corner and it may be nothing. Definitely in the 9s to this untrained eye.
