  1. Light yellow stain on front cover along with some finger prints. Edge wear on spine top to bottom. Also a couple of scratches. Back cover has edge wear also top to bottom. Finger prints and cover wear impressions on back cover. Blunted ends on spine. Inside is complete and clean with nothing missing. Let me know. Thx!
  2. Spine is the issue with this book. Blunting on both ends. And we have color breaking ticks and creases. Inside is good and complete. Let me know guys and girls. Thx
  3. Definitely a reader. Many defects as you will see. There is a tear on the bottom of the book that goes through the whole book. Not good. 35 cent marker on FC. Plus many more wonderful items to look at. Let me know. Thx!
  4. Rough spine on this book made it questionable to square off the book. So l didn’t. Dog ear creases on FC. Creases on back cover. Inside has a detached centerfold on bottom staple. Let me know guys and gals. Thx
  5. Nice book. Spine ticks, blunting on both ends, dog ear but overall kept well for its age. Inside looks good. Nothing missing.
  6. I should show my before pictures but after working on the book this is the end result. Lots of defects l could do nothing about but it definitely looks better than when l started. Let me know. Thx!!
  7. I was able to press out the indent on the book.
  8. Received the book back. Here’s the grade
  9. Thank you Galen130 for hanging with this one! Appreciate the feedback
  10. Let me rephrase that: cold press, reattached cover than heat pressed.
  11. So after hearing all the comments l took the cover off and put it into the aqueous bath ( distilled water only) to remove the staining and such. Cold pressed it. Heat pressed it. Reattached it and here are the results. Let me know what you think the grade might be now if there is any change at all. Thx!!
  12. Thanks for the feedback and compliments. I tried to go to the next step and use a scanner without having to pay for anything like storage. I downloaded an app to shrink the photos but when l try to do angles and such it didn’t come out right. I didn’t like the options that the CGC recommended. I’m using an IPad to do my work. I do take allot of pictures so that l can get a true grade. I’m doing this for my clients after l clean, press, or use an aqueous bath (distilled water only) to remove stains.
  13. I went back and forth between a 4.0 to 5.0. I have always used the Overstreet Guide to grading comics and l have found out through contests l was always a half a grade lower than what was given as the “grade”. I think the grade is somewhere in that zone. My gut said 4.0. So again l will add a half and give it a 4.5. Haha. Thanks for the discussion
  14. Reader copy. Many defects. On the inside the centerfold is detached on the bottom staple. Thanks again for your input.
  15. This book looks it’s age. Many defects to list. Let me know. Thx.
