  1. Hey all, I am a long time Marvel/DC collector but I am a total noob when it comes to random indies.

I found this indy book (Debutante Warriors 1) in a collection. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this book? I can’t seem to find anything about it online. Trying to gauge its value (if any).

This forum was helpful to me previously when I found some older Barry Blair comics (prior to Aircel) so I figured I would give it a shot once again.

    Thanks!

  2. Hey everyone, I was wondering what you thought the maximum grade this book could get. I am not quite as experienced in grading books of this nature.

Also, if I were to slab it would you recommend pressing it? I don't usually bother pressing a book unless it will increase the grade. My gut feeling is that in this instance pressing it would not increase the grade, but I would like to hear your opinion.

The back cover is detached, but the front cover is still attached. The book is complete.

    Thanks!

That slight tear is a bummer......I'm new but I'm going to say 4.5   I do think it's closer to a 5.0 than a 4.0   Is that a crease or a scratch on front cover going from the E down past the front tire ?

I think it is more of a crease than a scratch, although maybe a small portion of it is more "scratch like". It seems as though someone gripped the cover a bit too hard while reading it, causing the cover to crease around their fingertips.

I own slabs from both companies. I have read those rules and in he main post it does not mention anything against letting other people know the grade even if it comes from CBCS. I thought people would like to know either way. But I recognize this forum may not be the best place now so I will keep it to myself for the next time. :) Thanks.
