  1. I'm very happy to give it a good home! Long time funny book collector, but I'm newly into Marvel westerns thanks to the urging of a very good friend. I don't know the market very well, but it seemed like a very fair price to me. Can't wait to get it in and thumb it all up! Yippee ki-yay.....
  2. Attaboy geek! Glad you finally crossed it off the list. Must be that killer splash page that makes it hard to come by.
  3. Thanks Jared! Very happy to find them both with nice pages.
  4. I'm 100% against this thread being on page 3...bumping it with two recent purchases for my Rangers run.
  5. Sorry, just meant in general as I didn't see much in my home town at the time. Then I went to my first big show in Chicago and my mind was fully blown. You are absolutely correct though, there are many rare GA books out there! Case in point.. I spent over a decade trying to find a US Jones 2 only to never see a single copy for sale. There have been a few copies recently auctioned likely due to the tremendous price increases, but it's still incredibly rare.
  6. It was quite the eye opener...that's back when I thought GA was rare..
  7. I can remember seeing 5 or 6 copies on Fishler's wall display back in the 90s...
  8. Thanks! I was thrilled when I finally acquired the Action. It was on my grail list for some time and didn't disappoint when I got it in. I absolutely love the O'mealia cover and cracked it out of the slab the day I got it to check out the interior. It honestly gave me chills paging thru it knowing how close it was to the start of it all! Certainly as close as I'll ever get to an Action 1.
  9. Killer books! Pretty much nails my feelings on the topic as well. It opens up possibilities that just aren't there in blue label for me. Like these two.
  10. Love that Ultra-man cover! I rarely see those early All Americans. Congrats!
  11. That's what I'm talking about! Beautiful copy with slight resto. Congrats.
