Actually I've had this copy for over 10 years. It wasn't cheap even back then.
That's awesome! I think it's always been one of the most in demand covers in the run for obvious reasons, and priced accordingly! What a cover...

Yes! Because I'm certainly drooling over that gorgeous Wings 1. Awesome pick up! Did you happen to notice that Heritage had a batch of early Wings that may have all come from a single source? They are very nice clean copies that have a penciled "M" or "N" near the upper left of the front cover. Very cool stuff!

Detective Comics #115 5.5 with off white pages. This copy came from an original owner collection straight from the store that bought the collection to me. It's a beautiful 5.5 that feels fresh in hand and makes you want to grade it higher. It has tanning halos inside covers and a small water mark inside bottom front cover. It has a spine curl that should press out easily and nicely. I don't own a press. GPA has a 5.0 sale 3/21 for $325 & a 6.0 sale 4/21 for $379. Take this very improvable copy for $350.
Gorgeous copy!

that is such a cool book!!!
Thanks Gino! I'm thrilled to get a copy back. I sold mine a few years ago but have recently rekindled my love of the publisher. I appreciate them much more now. They are really awesome funny books!

Nice score! I really like those Rangers. Very tough to find. Still easier than some of those single digit issues...
Thanks RM! Yes, they sure don't pop up too often. I used to have some of those tough single digit issues, but sold them off before I knew just how hard they were. Now I'm scrambling to get them back!

I would sure agree. I've been working on a set of them for years. After the recent realized price for a 38 at Heritage, it's looking to be lot harder to acquire new ones.
