  1. 3/66 Monsters on a Rampage to 1/66 Man on a Rampage!
  2. It'd be hard to argue that. To make it a top 3, I might throw in DD #7.
  3. Nearly forgotten patriotic hero to nearly forgotten patriotic hero.
  4. I'm not on the Golden Age threads as much as I used to be, focusing more on Silver Age lately, but I've been meaning to ask you if you post pics of your comics because I can't really recall ever seeing you post any comic pics. So, do you post pics from your collection?
  5. GREAT variety of cool books in this pic!!! Nicely done!!!
  6. You're very welcome! I'm sure you already know this, but those camp coded books sell for a pretty big premium! I've seen some go at auction for just astronomical prices!
  7. Happy to help! I wish I had more information for you. I've seen a LOT of Eldon books and always figured they were the same guy.
  8. Wow, I didn't know that there was another Eldon in the mix! I've been much more focused on Silver Age lately and it looks like I've missed some things! For the record, I don't know anything about this new Eldon. I was SO happy when I found that stack of True Comics from an Iowa dealer!!! Now I had a last name AND an address to bring to the community!!! Best of luck in your search for information on this additional Eldon!
  9. Yeah, it was a good day! They're all lower grade with the DD 4 being the best, maybe a vg, but there's a LOT of good stories in those books! I DID certify the DD #1 as it was my first ever DD #1 and it came back about what I thought it would. Looks really spiffy in the holder though.
  10. Ok, cool, so I found a pic I took of all of the True copies stacked up, showing his name and yup, I remember correctly, he DID write his last name on one of them, which also has another name, perhaps IDA written on it. I can't believe I kept these pics as I usually don't after I sell something.
  11. This is the best pic I have on hand of one of the half dozen or so Eldon True Comics I purchased but have since sold. If memory serves, he even wrote his full name on one of them. I'll look thru my pics quick to see if I can find a pic of it.
  12. Wow, nice find!!! Camp coded and one of the best Joker covers!!! Well done!!!
  13. Frisco to Larson (I couldn't HELP it ... tailor made for me!!)!!!
  14. Another cool Ditko PHM cover!!! I need to get inside more of these and grab some pics!
  15. I have pictures of my set of 1-5 but will dig the issues out and get some interior shots when I get a chance.
  16. It's interesting in these early books to see when an artist draws a character for the first time. I'm sure this is the first time Steve drew Doctor Doom in a story and it's fun to compare how different artists drew characters!
  17. JIM #50 La Prensa Pub. Since I have them handy, here are a few interior shots!
