Getting an audience with Matty can be tricky at times, as he's very busy, but I hope to get with him and see the current state of the project. If it's really that close from whatever time it was set aside (half dozen years or better now, I'd guess), there'll need to be a fair amount of new information included just to bring it up to present day due to new pedigrees (Promise Collection for one) that have been unearthed. I think now, maybe more than ever, a current reference book on pedigrees would be a very useful and sought after volume in EVERY serious collector's information arsenal, as well as interesting enough to get some casual readers who are simply interested in history. Bringing this project to the finish line will be a balance. Some on here may forget that this is almost completely a labor of love and nobody's likely to make any money on it when all is said and done, and quite frankly, some may lose money on it, all things considered. So, cooperation and composure are going to be my plan to nudge this forward. Again, I need to see where it's currently at. There may be a way to make this a several volume series and that may mean there's enough done for a solid first volume.

Btw, I think Black Terror has a legitimate copyright infringement beef with Black Fury if he cared to pursue it!!! The likeness is a wee bit too close there!!!

Strange Mysteries to Super-Mystery.

I don't recall when exactly they changed it and I never heard why. I can see it being either way but not both. It's an interesting story as to why the numbering system changed on the La Prensa issues, in that at issue #8 (if memory serves), they went to publishing bi-weekly and had to substitute Avengers and Ant-Man stories to make up the difference.

Oh, I know they exist in the higher grades and that the farther forward they go, often times the more plentiful they are, but I still Marvel at how nice they are when I see them posted!!! At a quick glance, it would seem that my tippity topper is an 8.5 Strange Tales #93 UK copy which I seem to recall @Get Marwood & I say are difficult to find in grade (UK copies, not that issue specifically). I've got a decent handful of 8.0 copies which is generally as high as I need to go. You've got an awesome array of high-grade copies bc and I really enjoy seeing them posted here!!!

Wow, that's a VERY nice copy and you're right, it DOES belong here!!! It's kind of funny, but this isn't the only graded copy. CGC initially graded these issues under their actual name!!! SO, when checking the census, one needs to search both names to be accurate. I will likely eventually have my copies changed over at some later point. The two examples below are mine. Oh, and thanks for the props on my collection!!! I'm really glad someone else enjoys them too!!!
