At the listed prices, I'd grab #1. If the negotiated price on the second copy dropped the cost a significant amount (say $200 or more) then I'd grab the #2 copy. White pages are great, but so is saving nearly $500!

You have a good memory, yes I still have the Church NA 24. It has a 1” bottom spine split otherwise is NM+.
I purchased the book raw from Harley in a package deal that also included the super-tough Adv 36 (that later CGC’d 5.5, Big Apple copy), Adv 38 in CGC 9.4 (purple/cleaned), and a raw Adv 39 (Big Apple copy) that has amateur color touch on the cover. The fact that the NA 24 had the 1” spine split made it “affordable”, relatively speaking.
In the same grouping was the Church NA 20; it was beautiful but was priced to the moon, and the cover wasn’t a favorite, so I passed. I do regret not biting the bullet and picking it up simply because the book was subsequently stolen (and hasn’t been seen since, to my knowledge).
Anyway, mega congratulations to Peter; his collecting prowess of these rare DC books is unmatched.
It's great to see you back Steve!
