  1. Human Torch #4 WAS CGC 6.0 Restored B-4 Mod/Ext light tan to off white pages and then I cracked it out to enjoy it. You can see by what's in it that it's a book that is a lot of fun to have raw!!! This is my last Human Torch as I'm only gonna focus on Marvel Mystery and some Caps in the Timely category. I'll list a pic of it still slabbed, then hop to my phone to post some pics I took earlier today. GPA not much help ... somewhat comparable book sold 4 years ago for $950 and a 1.0 blue sold earlier this year for $845. This one can be had for $975. SOLD
  2. Star Spangled #126 apparent 3.5 due to large cover and 1st page tears seals which appear to be amateur. Smaller open tear on back cover. Great white pages!! I'll try to get better pics later. A Batmanless Robin the Boy Wonder gets called by the Batsignal in a story inside, there's also a Tomahawk story. Difficult to price, as GPA has a 3.0 selling 12/18 for $120, so this one for $50.
  3. Sensation Comics #48 2.5 that feels nicer in hand. Book is stiff with a bit of a humidity wave (a guess). Some random stains and small tears (see pics) staple tears at the slightly rusty bottom staple. Tear on right front cover edge. From that original owner collection the Tec 97 came from. $125 SOLD
  4. I see how much you were able to get listed and know how patient you must've had to have been! . I've been ready to throw the towel in many times!
  5. Picture Stories From The Bible #4 Old Testament 3.0-3.5 with off white to white pages. Some miscellaneous small tears and stains. An interior page has a 2 and a half inch tear but is totally complete. $50
  6. Detective #84 Qualified 5.0 ow/w pages. The qualified grade is due to someone neatly cutting a coupon out of the last page which does affect the end of the Boy Commandos story (the final page in the book is an ad page). Other flaws are an inch and a half tear at the right front cover edge mid way up (visible in pic) and small staple tears on back cover. Also, an odd page fold at the spine area near the centerfold (can be seen in Slam Bradley pic). Flat clean copy with one of the better later covers. $295 SOLD

  10. Lasso on back cover to Lorna lassoing a vulture on the front cover.
  11. Since you have the original back cover, you'd get a blue 0.5, that is if there's no restoration on it somewhere. GREAT score!!!! You likely have one of the only raw copies that can actually be thumbed thru, as since it's SO expensive, most people have them encapsulated or don't crack them out if they buy them that way. Well done!!!

  13. We have ourselves quite a time Russell!!! Great funny books, great food .... the only downside is that the clock always seems to operate at 5 times faster than normal. STILL though, we sure get a lot of geeking in!!!!
  14. I remember Mark Haspel showing me that!!! I don't have the issue, but it was awesome!!!
  15. I understand completely Kevin!!! While I AM very grateful for all that I have (I never thought I'd have so many great comics), it IS a part of the collector instinct to be looking for the next acquisition!! If it's in your blood, it's in your blood! Congrats on being complete #83 and up!!! Those are some GREAT books right there!!!
  16. Oh cool. I just happened to have it handy so thought I'd share it. I seldom take or keep interior pics from books, but this centerfold was an exceptional one, so I had to snap one. Beautiful copy you've got there, by the way! Mine was pretty low grade, hence not a big problem letting it go. Yours is a keeper for sure!!!
