  1. It's certainly a challenge to get good quality pics and scans but it makes an enormous difference when you figure it out! I still need work in that area ..... .
  2. WOW!!!! I'm just now seeing this and I gotta say, it's pretty spectacular!!!
  3. Can we ever REALLY have enough Doom covers? No ... the answer is no. Nice copy you've got there!
  4. That looks much better! The colors are very strong on your copy!
  5. And wait I will, if those Pinnacle Hill books are any indication of how expensive they get!!!
  6. Thanks RJ!!! Since I bought the #1, I figured this #2 was reasonably priced and it's really just conserved anyway, so it fit the bill. NOW they're gonna be hard to find!
  7. I used to own a copy of Top Notch #16 and a buddy of mine always enjoyed the flesh-puncture cover!!!
  8. Well Gino's book found it's perfect new home! I'm sure you'll leave it in the holder, but I bet it's a beauty raw!!!
  9. Congratulations to BOTH buyer and seller!!! I figured the Takebot was experiencing auction fatigue .... but ya can't keep a stout Takebot down!
  10. Another one for my run! This will likely end up in a conserved holder.
  11. MLJ #1 in 5.0 with ow/w pages to MLJ #1 in 5.0 with ow-w pages.
  12. You bet! The registry can be a lot of fun! Some collectors use it to keep track of which issues they have and in what grades they have them. I myself have referenced my registry at a show to avoid buying a duplicate copy on more than one occasion. It's also a lot of fun to look at other collections, at least the ones that have pics, that is.
  13. She's threatened with a knife to she's threatened with a spear!
  14. Hangman, Dusty & Roy cover to Hangman, Dusty & Roy ad page.
  15. I'll be there and hopefully the rest of the collection will be too!!! I know they're crazy busy in that grading room, doing the best they can to manage the huge influx of submissions! I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the collection!!!
  16. Go to the registry and click on "view other members sets and explore the registry" which will bring up competitive sets and the alphabet. Click on the letter under whichever set you want to build starts with. Scroll down and choose a set type. Click on the set type and just above the top set holder is a box that says "Create a set." Choose your own set name, type a set description if you wish and then add your book to your set using the CGC number on the slab. Scroll down and click "Save changes" and then you should be in business.
  17. Oh my!!!! That's a beauty right there Billy boy!!!!
  18. Won this one today at Heritage. The only issue I have from this run.
